I have a question about this tour: In the tour introduction it says: "Trek till the base camp of Nanga Parbat(8126m), 9th highest peak in the world, Hike up to Batura Glacier(57km), 6th largest glacier in the world. However,- in the day by day itiniary I can not find these activities, so I wonder if there are trekking / hiking activities on this tour or not ?

Trek to the base camp of Nanga Parbat is included on the second day in Fairy Meadows which is Day 9 and on the day 6 you will be hiking to see the white Passu glacier not the batura glacier. There is a small mistake which says trek to Batura but you will be hiking to passu glacier instead. Moreover, you will also see Batura glacier but from the civilisation. You are more than welcome to join the trip however, it will be hard to complete this trip in April due to thick snow on some of the passes and base camps. Its recommended to book for May/June.

I had the most amazing time travelling to Pakistan with Exploria! The owners, Ajmal and Arif, went out of their way both in organising the perfect tour for us, as well as both meeting us personally during the three weeks. With our personal guide Karim, we got to see so much of what the country has to offer, way more than we probably would have by ourselves. Epic mountains, the best food, and the most hospital people are of course some of the highlights. We got to explore the northern Hunza region, Skardu, Fairy Meadows, Gilgit, Swat valley, Islamabad, Lahore and more! One thing I really appreciated with Exploria (which I haven't experiences with other tour companies) is that there was a lot of flexibility in the itinerary, and we got to make a lot of decisions as to what we wanted to see that we otherwise maybe wouldn't have. This speaks volumes to the company that they are, as they are not just trying, but truly succeeding, in making their customers have the very best experience possible in Pakistan. I also want to mention for anyone hesitant about safety (as I was haha): I did not have a single scare/unsafe experience during my trip, nor did I see/speak to anyone who did.   I can probably not travel in April due to work, but I consider autumn instead. This tour should also run from Saturday, 10 Oct, 2026 to Thursday 29 Oct, 2026. Will it be a good time to go ? Another issue on my mind is safety in Pakistan due to developing conflicts in certain regions.

  October is one of the best times to do this trip. Mid-September would be a great time to start this trip because you will have great weather, and also, there will be no road blockages in the high passes due to snow. Oh! There will always be news about the political unrest in Pakistan. The law and order situation is normal here. Imagine, millions of travelers visit Pakistan every year, so it's not the case. It's going to be alright as always.
