If you're thinking about visiting Pakistan, I can highly recommend Sultan and Crossroads Adventure. I spent two weeks in Pakistan, together with my partner, and it was an amazing holiday. Everything was very well organised by Sultan. We got picked up at the airport when we arrived in the middle of the night, had a great city tour of Islamabad and went to Gilgit-Baltistan the next day. Northern Pakistan, with its high mountains and lush valleys, is incredibly beautiful. Plus, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The highlight of our trip was a homestay with Sultan's family, where we got a deeper insight into life in Pakistan. His family was very nice, and we loved our time there. We even got to participate in a Pakistani wedding on one of the days! As we had booked a private tour, Sultan was very flexible. When we mentioned how much we loved the colourful trucks in Pakistan, he arranged for us to visit a truck workshop in Islamabad on our last day. It was amazing! I had the most amazing time travelling to Pakistan with Exploria! The owners, Ajmal and Arif, went out of their way both in organising the perfect tour for us, as well as both meeting us personally during the three weeks. With our personal guide Karim, we got to see so much of what the country has to offer, way more than we probably would have by ourselves. Epic mountains, the best food, and the most hospital people are of course some of the highlights. We got to explore the northern Hunza region, Skardu, Fairy Meadows, Gilgit, Swat valley, Islamabad, Lahore and more! One thing I really appreciated with Exploria (which I haven't experiences with other tour companies) is that there was a lot of flexibility in the itinerary, and we got to make a lot of decisions as to what we wanted to see that we otherwise maybe wouldn't have. This speaks volumes to the company that they are, as they are not just trying, but truly succeeding, in making their customers have the very best experience possible in Pakistan. I also want to mention for anyone hesitant about safety (as I was haha): I did not have a single scare/unsafe experience during my trip, nor did I see/speak to anyone who did. I am a young, solo, woman, and truly felt as respected and taken care of as in any other country. Maybe even more so with the incredible hospitality of the people there.
