Following your feedback, I would like to clarify each of your points—not only regarding Phuket, but across the entire trip—so you can better understand our approach and services.
1. TourRadar platform
Regarding the TourRadar platform, it does not allow additional participants to join the conversation, and the system is fixed. As a tour operator, we do not have control over this feature. However, we will certainly pass your feedback on to the TourRadar team.
2. Cruise & accommodation standards
Concerning Orchid Cruise, it is a luxury cruise in Ha Long Bay, but with a different concept and style compared to Calista. Orchid Cruise follows a more traditional “junk boat” design, which many travelers appreciate, while Calista offers a more modern concept. Both are considered luxury, but with different experiences.
We understand that expectations regarding “luxury” can vary. For example, your hotel in Hanoi was a 5-star boutique hotel rather than an international luxury brand.
At the beginning, we did not clearly understand your preference for high-end luxury accommodations. If we had known your expectations more specifically, we would have recommended more exclusive options. This is why the Phuket, Katathani is a 5-star beachfront resort was added.
Additionally, we initially proposed balanced options to avoid significantly increasing the overall cost, as luxury upgrades can raise the price considerably—and we noticed your concern when the quotation increased based on your hotel preferences.
If you could share a clearer idea of your preferred level of luxury in the future, we would be able to tailor our recommendations more precisely.
3. Guide in Ninh Binh
We sincerely apologize for the issue with the guide in Ninh Binh. This was due to a misunderstanding, and we addressed it immediately once we were informed. The guide has been penalized, and we trust he still took proper care of your group during the trip.
4. Accommodation in Dong Hoi
Dong Hoi is not a major tourist destination; most travelers stay there mainly to visit Phong Nha Cave. Due to logistical reasons, at least two nights are required to explore the area properly.
, Dong Hoi is not particularly known for its beaches, and during the low season, beach conditions are not as favorable compared to other destinations.
5. Mekong Delta experience
The Mekong Delta is one of the most popular destinations for travelers visiting Ho Chi Minh City. As your trip took place during peak season, it was naturally more crowded. Most day tours in the Mekong Delta follow similar itineraries and activities. We apologize if the experience did not feel as authentic as expected.
6. Phuket – Phi Phi tour
Regarding the Phi Phi tour, we received your feedback about the scuba diving activity, which unfortunately could not be completed due to issues from the boat operator. We have already agreed to refund this portion.
Other parts of the tour were completed as planned with a private speedboat. Please note that Phi Phi Islands are among the busiest tourist destinations in Phuket, and most key highlights were covered during your trip.
The additional fee you paid for the speedboat was for a private service rather than a shared group tour only.
Regarding your feedback about the guide and crew, we were only informed after the trip. At this stage, it is more difficult to verify with the boat operator. If this had been raised during the tour, we could have addressed it immediately and provided a timely solution.
