Unfortunately, Uniworld has informed us that this cruise is sailing for the last time this year and will be discontinued after. Nevertheless, we have more cruises in our website from Amsterdam to Amsterdam.

Can I know if you can arrange a tour for about one week in the Netherlands by bus from Amsterdam?

This specific adventure is a cruise. That will be the main source of transport between ports and your accommodation for the 8 days. There are included excursions on each day of the cruise where you will get off the boat and explore the city with a guide.

What time can we board the ship on July 15? What time do we disembark on July 22? Can we purchase a private departure transfer for only one-way (from ship to airport at end of cruise)?

Also, please confirm that as USA citizens we won't need visas. What are shot requirements?

The ship was in good shape, except for the fact that the elevator broke after the first day of the cruise and it was out for the rest of the cruise. The staff on board was excellent as was the food. It would have been nice to have had more local Dutch dishes included in the menu. The big disappointment was the availability and quality of the excursions. Two of the excursions that we asked to go on were unavailable. One of them was the Ann Frank House. The activity director explained that tickets had been ordered months in advance and that more were not available. He also said that only 14 were available at the start of the cruise. The Ann Frank House is a major attraction; and with 84 guests on the ship, it should have been clear in advance that more tickets would be needed. The trips that were available were poorly planned, with very long bus rides to have very short time at disappointing attractions. The guide for our trip to see windmills took us to cheese making and wooden shoe making demonstrations, which were interesting. However, she then left us to explore the windmills (which were what we came to see) on our own.Show more
