    Its my first time traveling alone abroad and I'm not sure what would be the best way to get to Athens from England and how I'd get to there the tour starts.

      From England, our preferred Arrival/Departure Airports: Athens: Athens International (ATH), Santorini: Santorini (Thira) International Airport (JTR). When you arrive at Athens Airport you have two options to get to the Hotel. You can catch a taxi or book a car through Uber. Your other option is to take public transport. Walk to the Airport Train Station/Metro where you can get a ticket to Athens. Get on the Blue line (M3) to Monastiraki Station, which will take about 40 minutes. You'll then need to walk 8 minutes to the Arion Athens Hotel. Contiki tours have an age restriction, requiring guests to be between 18-35 years old to participate.

      Contiki trips are for travelers ages 18-35. We do have reunion trips for guests 35-45 who have previous travelled on a Contiki trip. If you are interested, I can recommend our open age sister brands Trafalgar, Cost Saver or Insight Vacations, they have tours for guests of all ages.
