Will the Mykonos accomodation 100% be by the beach clubs?

Regarding the accommodation in Mykonos, it will be at New Paradise Beach Resort or a similar property. While this location offers great proximity to the beach, exact details may vary.

Its my first time traveling alone abroad and I'm not sure what would be the best way to get to Athens from England and how I'd get to there the tour starts.

From England, our preferred Arrival/Departure Airports: Athens: Athens International (ATH), Santorini: Santorini (Thira) International Airport (JTR). When you arrive at Athens Airport you have two options to get to the Hotel. You can catch a taxi or book a car through Uber. Your other option is to take public transport. Walk to the Airport Train Station/Metro where you can get a ticket to Athens. Get on the Blue line (M3) to Monastiraki Station, which will take about 40 minutes. You'll then need to walk 8 minutes to the Arion Athens Hotel. Contiki tours have an age restriction, requiring guests to be between 18-35 years old to participate.

I'm considering booking this tour for my granddaughter (who will be 18) and her mom (who is 40), but I saw the listed ages as 18-35. Am I able to book this tour if my DIL is 40?
