    Asked on January 3rd, 2026

On day 4 of the Southern tour, it states available Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays. Is that the same with the Viva Mexico Tour because if we come on the Feb 4, that means Day 4 (Xochimilco & Southern Neighborhoods falls on a Saturday?

      TravelerWritten January 2026

What is the expected tip per day for guides/drivers/hotel staff?

    • SAT Mexico Tour and TravelOperatorWritten January 2026

They start on different days because of the domestic flights they have to take, as there are no direct flights every day.

    • SAT Mexico Tour and TravelOperatorWritten January 2026

Regarding the visit to the Butterfly Sanctuary, we do not recommend this tour, as it involves a very long road trip and you do not have much time at the sanctuary. It is also not a safe transfer, as we do not recommend visiting Michoacán, so we do not operate this tour.

    • SAT Mexico Tour and TravelOperatorWritten January 2026

The price per night at the Casa Blanca hotel is $125 USD.

    • SAT Mexico Tour and TravelOperatorWritten January 2026

The departure time to the airport depends on your flight schedule. We recommend arriving at least 3 hours before your flight departs. The transfer time from the Hotel Zone to Cancun Airport is approximately 30 minutes. I would recommend that your flight be in the afternoon so that you can enjoy your morning at the beach, as check-out is at 12 pm.

    • SAT Mexico Tour and TravelOperatorWritten January 2026

We recommend 2 to 4 USD per day per staff member/guide/driver.

    • SAT Mexico Tour and TravelOperatorWritten September 2025

Yes, we could book for you the flight from Oaxaca to Merida, the estimated price is $312 usd (including one 25 kg checked bag and one carry-on bag). We can offer Riviera Maya Discovery, 4 nights and 5 days, which includes, a Tulum & Coba tour, a 1 day Holbox Tour and 1 day Catamaran tour, all in shared. The hotel we offer is the Beachscape Kin Ha Hotel or Krystal Cancun. It is a full day tour, you would be arriving in Cancun at approximately 7 pm, I don't think you can make it to the airport in time. The extra night at the hotel in mexico city is $162 usd (this is a little higher than the normal rate, as these are high dates due to the day of the dead season).
