You'll land in San José and head to your hotel for mid-afternoon check-in. A Globus representative will go over what's coming up tomorrow, so pay attention to any logistics or tips they mention. After you get settled, the rest of the day is free to rest up from your flight or explore the immediate area if you're not too tired.

San Jose to Arenal
A transfer takes you to Arenal, where the volcano towers over everything. This afternoon you'll soak in the natural hot springs surrounded by tropical forest and warm mineral water. Dinner happens right there at the springs, so you won't need to go far.

- Day 3
Arenal
Breakfast comes with your room, so start there. The day is completely open for what interests you. It's really about what sounds appealing, and there's time to do one or combine a couple activities if you're up for it.

Arenal to Monteverde
Start early with a boat ride across Arenal Lake to watch for birds, then head through mountain scenery toward Monteverde Cloud Forest. By evening, a naturalist guide takes you on a night walk to search for nocturnal creatures like sloths, foxes, and tree frogs.

Monteverde
You're in Monteverde now. Breakfast is included, then you'll want to get moving early if you plan to hit Santa Elena Cloud Forest to watch for wildlife in their natural habitat. The alternative is visiting a local farm where they'll show you how sugar cane, coffee, and tilapia farming works. Either way, it's a good chance to see how things actually function here rather than just passing through.

Monteverde to San José
Travel back to San José for your last night in Costa Rica. Breakfast is included at your hotel. In the afternoon or later, the San José Central Market is worth walking through if you're interested. You'll find over 350 booths selling everything from spices and fresh fish to hammocks and flowers, so it gives you a real sense of local commerce and what people actually buy here.
