Our tour in Cambodia exceeded our expectations in several fields. Both of our guides (Mr. Samart in Phnom Penh and Ms. Makara in Siem Reap) were very friendly and knowledgeable, and told us a lot about the history of Cambodia and the Khmer. Having a guide is especially important in Siem Reap, where the temples in the Angkor complex are very far from each other and it can be difficult to enjoy the full potential of the site without a professional person guiding you around. The hotels were also very nice, especially the one in Siem Reap. Also, the restaurants that were included in the tour were very well chosen and the food was delicious. Knowing that Cambodia is still a developing country and having adjusted our expectations acordingly, we were positively impressed with the contents of the tour and how welcoming everyone was.Show more
