All of our trips are small group tours with a maximum number of 12 people. They are led by our local leaders and all luggage will be transferred to the next location for you. Unless there is public transport from 1 location to the next you may need to carry your luggage with you but the entire group will be traveling together with the leader.

Can I book an extra night at the same B&B in Fort William

We can usually book an additional night at the same start hotel, subject to availability. If you proceed to book trip, request the additional night and we will advise price and add to your booking.

What are the distances of the walks/hikes per day?

Day 1: Fort William - Today's walk is a gentle ramble with minimal elevation. Day 2: Devil's Staircase - Today's walking distance is 16 kms (10 miles) with 562 metres (1840 feet) elevation gain. Day 3: West Highland Way - Today's walking distance is 25 kms (15 miles) with 811 metres (2660 feet) elevation gain. Day 4: Ben Nevis - Today's walk is approximately 16 kilometres (10 miles) with an elevation gain of 1341 metres (4400 feet). Day 5: Great Glen Way - Today's walk is approximately 19 kilometres (12 miles) with an elevation gain of 189 metres (620 feet). Day 6: Cow Hill - Today's walk is approximately 10 kilometres (6 miles) with an elevation gain of 474 metres (1555 feet).

My first group trip ever, but it was an amazing experience with a wonderful group and guide(s)! Beautiful hikes and views of the greenery, but challenging with the descents especially with the Ben Nevis climb. The tour was well organized, with a perfectly located guesthouse on a hill which gave a beautiful view at breakfast. And a good surprise was the drying room where you could put you wet clothes and shoes and the next day they were dry. A perfect first trip and i would definitely plan a tour with them again.Show more
