Is it possible to start and end this tour in Catania? Is it possible to have triple rooms for our accommodation and does that change the cost?

The only time we can request a triple is if a family is travelling with a minor under 18. If you are all adults, A triple room is not an available option. Our accommodation is twin share. The third person may share with another solo traveller or upgrade to have their own room. This will be the case for all tours. This tour begins and ends Palermo. We have Explore Southern Sicily which begins in Catania and ends in Palermo.

Are entrance fees for major sites like the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento or the Teatro Greco in Taormina included in the base price, or should we budget for these separately?

Where do you fly from? Is air included? Where do I join the group? I need to be in Calabria Life Resort on Oct. 15 - can you provide air/transport to get there? What is the single supplement?

Air is not included in this tour. The single supplement is an additional $1299 USD.

The maximum on this trip is 16 travellers. Airport arrival/departure transfers are not offered for this trip. Free time is provided throughout various days of the trip. Meals include 13 breakfasts and 1 lunch. Allow USD495-645 for meals not included.

We don't charge single supplements. We'll partner you up with a same-sex roommate to ensure you pay the same as everyone else.   The private vehicles used on tour will have AC, yes. During your tour the transportation used will be as follows: Private vehicle, ferry, walking. In Europe it is very rare to find elevators in train stations, hotels or other public places. We use public transport on this trip, which means you will need to carry your luggage from platform to platform, in and out of trains and buses etc. and also possibly up several flights of stairs. You will also need to be able to stow your luggage safely on trains and buses. It is therefore essential that you pack light and bring luggage which is compact and lightweight, and which you can easily transport. The carrying of your luggage remains your responsibility at all times. We highly recommend travelling with a backpack or duffel bag over any wheeled luggage options.

  The walks in Cefal\u00f9 and Palermo are rated low intensity, but you should expect uneven cobblestone streets, some stairs, and gentle inclines, especially in the historic centres. There are no long or steep climbs included, and the pace is relaxed, but it\u2019s not completely flat. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
