  Could you provide a price list for the "opt to" activities mentioned, specifically the Mount Etna day trip, the Aeolian Islands boat tour, and the arancini making in Syracuse?

    The private vehicles used on tour will have AC, yes. During your tour the transportation used will be as follows: Private vehicle, ferry, walking. In Europe it is very rare to find elevators in train stations, hotels or other public places. We use public transport on this trip, which means you will need to carry your luggage from platform to platform, in and out of trains and buses etc. and also possibly up several flights of stairs. You will also need to be able to stow your luggage safely on trains and buses. It is therefore essential that you pack light and bring luggage which is compact and lightweight, and which you can easily transport. The carrying of your luggage remains your responsibility at all times. We highly recommend travelling with a backpack or duffel bag over any wheeled luggage options.

    The walks in Cefal\u00f9 and Palermo are rated low intensity, but you should expect uneven cobblestone streets, some stairs, and gentle inclines, especially in the historic centres. There are no long or steep climbs included, and the pace is relaxed, but it\u2019s not completely flat. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

    The recommended food budget is usually for entry-level local spots. The CEO will offer alternatives, and some nights will even offer to make group reservations depending on how the group is feeling.

Sometimes it's just more convenient and comfortable to have your own room, which is why we offer single travellers a "My Own Room" option—a single room all to yourself at a great G Adventures price.     The CEO and driver will not be the same person but you will likely only 1 driver for the duration of the trip. Entrance fees will be included for any activities that are included in the tour price. Yes, there are optional extras - more info can be found on the tour PDF, which I have attached here.

    We cannot assist with flights, these must be sorted separately yourself. The visit to Mt. Etna is not free of charge but costs will depend on how many wish to do this, so your tour guide will advise of pricing at the welcome meeting on day one. Extra nights can be added for 140 USD per twin/double room per night.

    I made a mistake. My flight only leaves the U.S. on May 6, 2025. It arrives in Palermo on May 7 at 6:30pm. I need to cancel the pre night for May 6. I will be there on the evening of May 7.
