Do you have any tours starting late August or early September 2026? And can we start from Helsinki to join this tour?

We have tours starting during that period but it is not in Lapland, but in Scandinavia. If you would like you can check our Vision of Scandinavia tour starting from Copenhagen 28th August as an example. Aurora Borealis tour has departures in December for next winter season.

the best place to see the northern lights there is up north in the areas of Inari / Ivalo / Saariselkä. I am not worried about going to the zoo. I just want to spend 2 days in the capital of laplan to all those things mentioned and then about 3/4 days up north where I can stay in an igloo, do the husky rides there etc. Is there anything like that on offer?

Yes, we can definitely offer something like that. We can customize the tour according to your needs. Is 21st of February 2026 your preferred arrival date or is there any flexibility regarding your travel dates? In my opinion, if you prefer to do the winter safaris up in the north of Lapland, then there is no reason to go to Rovaniemi at all. Except if visiting Santa Claus Village is on your bucket list. Skipping Rovaniemi would make your travel easier, because otherwise we need to book for you a transfer from Rovaniemi to Inari / Ivalo / Saariselkä. Approximate travel time is 4-5 hours. Would make more sense to fly directly to Ivalo Airport.

I would like to know availability for November for a solo traveler

Usually we have 1 departure date in the end of November. We have not published yet the dates that we will have next season. That should be done within the next 2-3 months.

I would like to book this trip. Can I speak to someone about the add on activities - I would like to book some but want to check on which days.

We have availability only on 21st February departure. If you are interested we can then talk about the activities you would like to add additionally.

Is this change possible for a triple room?

Can optional activities be booked at the destination or do they need to be booked at the time of reservation?

Which glass igloo are we going to be staying at? Cam we upgrade to 2-4 nights in the igloo instead? Or one night in an igloo with floor to ceiling glass and 3 nights in a room with glass ceilings or large Windows will be great too!

The Igloo is at Santa Glass Igloo and the overnight is on the last night only. We can only ask if there is availability to add extra nights on the igloos. The first 3 nights are in Santa Hotel.

Is the Christmas atmosphere still present in January? Are there any decorations during that time?

In January the Christmas atmosphere is still present in Rovaniemi. The Santa Claus Village is always here, and the city has decorations, Christmas trees and snow.

Are the taxes considered? And if the trip begins from Mexico, which airline is the best to get to Finland?

Unfortunately 13th Dec is closed for sales since it is fully booked. Would you be interested in another date that is available like 10th January or 31st January? The price is final, but for the departure of 31st January I can offer you 65 Euros discount per person. You should use a flight that can bring you to Helsinki and then you can take a domestic flight or train (overnight or daytime) to Rovaniemi.

Can you curate a trip to Lapland, Rovaniemi, Helsinki and Talinn from 20th Dec and to 26th December?

We don't handle the flights. Will you be able to book those yourself? I suggest staying in Rovaniemi area and not going to Kakslauttanen as this program is too heavy. Also travelling from Saariselka to Rovaniemi by private transfer will be quite pricy.

Would like to stay an extra day at the glass igloo. Can you suggest best month to have a chance to see Aurora Borealis?

February and March are best months to see Aurora Borealis. We have available rooms on 29th November and 6th December. Aurora Borealis is not guaranteed but conditions may allow viewing during these tour months.

it was veryyyy good, like described and even better than imagined. but why not 5 stars then? the thermal clothing was not like described and imagined. for the price of the thermal clothing we thought it comes with long underwear and socks for the days - so that everything is covered also for -20 and more for e.g. the snow mobile safari - but it was just one outer layer unfortunately and no hat! in the chat function we asked beforehand about this and we've been ensured that the underlying layers are also covered and we are good to go! so we got false information there. fortunately we had partly ski outfits for double layers to stay outside longer than 10 minutes like 2 hours plus, but the movement wasn't that great with our improvised solution.Show more

Alain was our tour guide and he sets the bar high for future guided tours - the Aurora tour was perfectly planned and he had everything prepared for every day which made it so easy for us to enjoy every moment of our trip stress free and without any worry, many thanks to Alain for a wonderful experience in Finland. I think our favorite part of the tour was the Husky Safari and the Glass Igloo. Playing with the husky dogs and later seeing the northern lights was spectacular! While at the the Scandic hotel, everything was clean and comfortable, the restaurant served a great breakfast, and staff were helpful and friendly. I absolutely recommend this tour and look forward to our next adventure in Finland!Show more

Oh, how we are glad we did. This was the holiday of a lifetime made even better by the unbeatable Alain. From the moment we arrived at our first hotel to helping us checking in at the airport he was a gem. Feels like leaving a friend behind. Trips and tours were exceptional and organised by Alain in such a way to take away any stress or unanswered questions. And how many languages can he speak! Our tour was excellent. Our guide, Alain, was exceptional. He handled a group that spoke 4 different languages with ease and made sure everyone was informed.the accommodations and planned activities were great. My only negative recommend would be having to check out of our hotel in Rovaniemi at noon and not leaving for the glass igloo until 1700. That’s a lot of dead time in a small town. A later check out, a planned activity, or an earlier arrival at the igloos would have worked better.Show more
