Guests of all physical abilities are welcome on our tours; however, this is an adventure tour and stays in hostels. Whilst private room upgrades are available on request, we cannot guarantee and cannot guarantee that the room will be on the ground floor. Additionally, we cannot guarantee ensuite rooms as these are very limited in hostels. Sincere apologies for this however I am unsure if the guest would be comfortable on this tour. I think the guest would be more suited to a Haka Plus tour as this is a twin share in 3-4-star accommodations, all of which have ensuites. Private room upgrades are also available upon request.

I'm a solo traveler and would like a single room. How much more do I need to pay?

A single supplement would cost 1295.00 USD but is not available on day 12, and you will share a room that night.

Some of the hostels were dirty and far from centre, also arrived at hostels too late

Cleanliness is of great importance to us. As you did travel on a Basix style trip, our accommodation is generally located outside of the city centres, but transport should be readily accessible from these locations- please refer to our website should you care to review our trip styles. We do our best to fit in plenty of sightseeing and activity during the our travel days, but have sent along your feedback regarding late arrival times to the hostels. Thank you for all your have provided, and we wish you all the best for 2024!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
