Itinerary
- Day 1
Antananarivo
You'll arrive in Antananarivo and your guide will meet you at the airport. From there, it's a transfer to your hotel where you can get settled and rest up after your flight.
- Day 2
Antananarivo to Perinet
After breakfast, you'll head east toward Perinet National Park with a stop at a butterfly farm along the way. There you'll see chameleons, geckos, and butterflies before reaching Perinet in the afternoon.

- Day 3
Perinet
Following breakfast, a guided walk takes you through the forest to look for Indri-Indri lemurs, bamboo lemurs, and woolly lemurs. Your guide will point out medicinal plants and explain how the forest ecosystem works.

Landmarks Perinet National Park - Day 4
Perinet to Ankanin'ny Nofy
You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Manambato where you'll board a speedboat on the Canal des Pangalanes heading toward Ankanin'ny Nofy.

Landmarks Canal des Pangalanes - Day 5
Ankanin'ny Nofy
The morning includes a visit to Palmarium Reserve to check out Malagasy fauna and wildlife. Lunch happens back at the hotel, and the afternoon is yours to relax or walk around. There's an optional visit to the fishing village of Andranokoditra if you're interested.

Ankanin'ny Nofy to Mahambo
You'll continue traveling along the Canal des Pangalanes, passing by Rasoamasay and Ampitabe Lakes. After reaching the Toamasina river port, you'll continue on to Mahambo.

Mahambo to Sainte Marie
An early breakfast starts your day before you transfer by boat across the canal to Sainte Marie, a trip of about 3 hours. You'll arrive at this Indian Ocean island with white sand beaches and coconut palms. Hotel staff meets you at Ambodifotatra port and drives you to your accommodation.

- Days 8 - 9
Sainte Marie
These are leisure days where you can pick what to do. Rent a mountain bike or motorbike to explore the east coast, see pirate graveyards, or ride along beaches and villages. You could also take a canoe to Ile aux Nattes at the south end. Optional sea activities include diving or snorkelling at the coral reef, and humpback whale watching runs from July through September.

Sainte Marie to Antananarivo
After breakfast and a final swim in the turquoise lagoon, hotel staff drives you to the airport for your 1 hour flight back to Antananarivo. Lunch timing depends on when your flight departs. If time allows, you can stop at the crafts market for souvenirs before transferring to your hotel for dinner.
