I would like to start a tour in Cape Town to Namaqualand to visit the wild flowers mainly and anything interesting around. After Namaqualand I would like to go to Seiderburg for easy hiking and seeing around. 15 to 21 days would suit from and to Cape Town. For the flowers it looks like it should be end of August isn't it? Count 2 or 4 or even 6 adults in separate rooms, I should be looking for moderate hotels or loges, 3 stars or guest houses. Does it seem ok for you please?

Is there any possibility you can start with us from Johannesburg on 23 August and then I can give you over to another guide to take you hiking for 3 day trails in the Cederberg from day 6, or 28 August? The price for the Normal option (4-5 people) is R 11450 pp sharing. Please note that we require at least 4 adults in order to start the tour. There's no bookings yet, I'll let you know when there are more.

Could you tell me currently the size of the group and what the maximum capacity is, also the additional cost of a single supplement for accommodation if applicable, if the guide has any botanic knowledge and if it is possible to leave the tour on day 7 or 8 to travel independently on to Cape Town rather than return to Johannesburg.

There are no bookings yet, the tour will start if there will be at least 4 people booking. Maximum capacity is 12 pax. I can drop you off in Cape Town, and will adjust the price for you accordingly. As an ex-horticulturist I believe my botanical knowledge exceeds the expectations of a normal guide, I do have a passion for the flora and fauna.

It was absolutely stunning. The visits to Museums, National Parks and very good accommodation. We travelled from Kimberley down to the coast and up again to Gariep Dam, Bloem and back to Johannesburg. The tour guide, Jakes gave very interesting information about the areas and places we visited. He has excellent knowledge of the fauna and flora in that area and if he was not sure of something he did research. He made sure we were comfortable at all times, and in my opinion, he often went the extra mile. I will recommend Amatungulu Tours without hesitation.Show more
