      Yes, it is possible to upgrade your Sambadrome ticket to a VIP box (camarote), and you would only need to pay the price difference. However, these tickets are considerably more expensive, and depending on the specific box and parade day, prices can range from approximately USD 1083.00 to USD 2164.00 per person.

      Please note that VIP box availability and pricing are usually confirmed only a couple of weeks before the event, once ticket sales officially begin.

      Our recommendation would be to join the experience included with us and, if you wish, consider adding a second night. In our experience, most travelers decide against the VIP boxes, as the parade itself is very similar from our Sector 6 seats, which already offer an excellent view of the performances.

      The main advantage of the VIP boxes is the exclusive atmosphere, often including food and drinks. However, access is independent, and our guides would accompany you only to the entrance, as they do not enter the VIP areas.

      Please let me know if you would like us to keep an eye on VIP box availability once sales open.

Lapa is a vibrant and central area known for its nightlife, Carnival atmosphere, and easy access to major attractions. The accommodation is in a clean, well-located property with breakfast included daily. Please note that the accommodation is not a luxury hotel category, but rather a comfortable and well-located tourist-class option, selected specifically to keep guests close to the Carnival activities and group experience.

    I'm concerned that the Nova Casa Hotel has a lot of negative reviews—especially leaking showers, old/not functioning AC, dirty room, etc. Has Bamba Travels addressed this issue with the Hotel to ensure the rooms are not leaky and things are functioning? We are not picky but we expect a decent comfortable, clean room. What reassurance can you give us regarding this concern?

This gives us further confidence that the hotel is providing an improved experience for our guests.
