We would rate the whole Tour experience as mediocre…..the redeeming part was that our Tour Leader….Bagonya…was so lovely, informative, knowledgeable and kept things running well and smoothly.

I felt that the tour guides hired needed to be more fluent English speakers as the tour described they would be. Purchased the superior hotels which I felt were not always premium lodgings. Long days and long time between mealtimes. Truck stop lunches were not well received.

On the whole the trip was excellent but there is room for improvement. 1. Tour guide was very nice, but in general I see they need to speak more in English for the 'English speaking group" 2. The food selection for the 'Plus package ' group can be better with more choices than just one predetermined main dish. 3. Airport pick up at Madrid did not happen as I have to pay extra for taxi to the hotel. Reason was there was no proper direct contact to the local transport service. The number given was not useful in getting information passed to the right person when flight got cancelled. 4. Need to stay in one hotel at least 2 nights. Otherwise it is too taxing on elderly folks.

Tour Radar falsely advertised this tour as bilingual. It was only in Spanish. The third party Mapa Plus was absolutely the worst in accommodating me with a solution. I don’t recommend these companies.

First x2 days utter confusion as our tour was taken over by another group: Mapa plus without any notice or even an email to us. No reply to my email by you Rest of the tour : English poor and very neglected on the busses with resulting miscommunication about changing busses, times and meeting places.

Hello, Here are the following reasons why I have rated this tour as bad. If there was a zero star I would have clicked on that: 1. Lack of communication - When we arrived at our hotel, no one told us that it had gone from Tour Radar to Click Tours, to then Mapa Plus. When we tried telling the receptionist that we were with TourRadar they had no clue what we were talking about. It was quite stressful but we figured it out on our own. This should have been communicated. 2. Confusion - On the day that we were to go with our actual Tour Guide, there was confusion as to what bus we were getting on. As a matter of fact, everyone on tours at our hotel left except for four us that were left in the lobby to once again, figure out on our own what was going on. It was not until I called that someone told us that our bus was stuck in traffic. This was about an hour later. 3. Lack of consistency with buses and group - Our group was constantly divided into other groups and we changed drivers and buses about 5 times. This created lack of bonding with the people we were just getting to know. 4. Schedule - The schedule was too tight and not enough time to look around the shops or town. 30 minutes to go to the bathroom and look around is not enough time when you take into account that the bathroom lines were long. 5. The only positive thing was our tour guide Francisco, who was patient with us. 6. I will most definitely NOT recommend Tour Radar to any of my friends or family.
