He took us through the sites in chronological order and gave us options of extra side trips to visit local artisans on the route. It was an eye opening, breathtaking, and humbling experience Took the private tour with Mr. Sam today and he has been sooooo nice to me AL throughout the trip. He’s been so professional, very informative, speaks really good English, and very attentive to my needs as a solo traveler. He gave me tips to serve as my protection while being in the tourist sites. He even took pictures of me without sighing, repeating when I requested him to 😆 Soooo yup I would highly recommended Mr. Sam when you ask for a tour guide!!!Show more

One day in Cairo well spent! Had only one day in Cairo as a stopover before my next flight, so I tried to see as much culture of Cairo as possible. Overall good itinerary with all important and well-known pyramids. The guide spoke perfect English and German and the day-trip went smooth from the pick-up at the hotel in the morning until the drop-off again in the afternoon. Only negative part: I was pushed to buy souvenirs which made me feel uncomfortable. The guide and the driver were super nice and friendly, but I got caught up at typical tourist traps with them. Without being mentioned in the itinerary I was dropped off at 2 places which were only souvenir shops of friends of the driver/guide I guess. First we went to a papyrus "factory", where the guide mentioned I can watch how papyrus is made. Sounded nice but in the end it was just a short show and afterwards got released into the shop to buy papyrus art. Later we went to a "oil shop", where they just tried to sell you all kind of oils they make (or not make) themselves. As I was the only person at this trip, I felt forced to buy something, as they all mentioned how they suffer from the pandemic and the lack of tourists. If the trip would have been longer, I would not have minded these stops. But as it was just a day-trip, I felt I lost a lot of time there which I would have preferred to spend at the Pyramids. But this is just my opinion, other tourists might like these tourist shops.Show more

For tours departing after May 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Egypt Best Holidays. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
