It is possible to include The Amazonas in this trip. the best probability is to travel to Puerto Maldonado from Lima, stay in a lodge for two nights/three days and then fly from here to Cuzco. I will send you soon the modified itinerary with prices for your consideration.

The flight ticket from Lima to Cusco is not included in the tour price. How do we book the flight ticket, what time of the flight we should book? Can the tour organizer arrange the ticket? Our departure date is flexible. We would like to travel with a group, not just 2 of us. How many people do you expect in the tour group?

Flights are not included because prices are very dynamic and change everytime. Once you confirm your dates and book this tour, I sill send you the flights you will need for this tour with prices. We can book them for you of course. This tour is semi private, that means that transfers will be on private basis and some excursions with other clients. We cannot tell how many people will have every excursion, all depends in your travel dates. Once wou share with us your dates, I will send you an updated quote for you to confirm and book.

Do you schedule the flights? I'm interested in the Inca cultural tour, and it seems that there are some internal flights that are not included. What else is not included, and what might be the Total cost of the trip?

The flights are indeed not included, and the price for them varies very much from one season to the other. That's the reason why we don't include the flights on the price. Nevertheless, the price varies from 350 to 360 EUR for the bundle (three flights) and we can book (and buy them for you for sure. Regarding the price, it depends also on the time you pretend to travel. Our packages are mostly individual, with a few services on shared basis. If you are travelling alone, the price will be around 4.700 EUR.

How can I get visa for Bolivia?

Can you please explain from where the flight from and to? Cause its not clear to me in the itinerary.

The program starts in Lima and ends in Santiago, no matter from where you start. If you mean the domestic flights, these are from Lima to Cuzco, from La Paz to Uyuni and from Calama to Santiago.

Are vegetarians accommodated? Also, what level of fitness is required for this trip?

Yes of course we will help you to find good vegetarian restaurants in every destination and in included meals we will care that you become the right meals. The strengthening is moderate but it is important to consider that you will be in high altitudes

Can I split the tour 'Cultural and Nature Adventure in the Andes' to two parts? Total number tour days is still 15 days. Part 1: between Lima and Atacama (Nov. 26 to Dec. 7). Part 2: Santiago (Dec. 29, 30, 31).

Basically it is possible to split the tour as you planned. We can also give you an offer to get from Atacama to Salta, then probably to Mendoza and cross the Andes Mountains to get to Santiago.

Do I have to book all flights for the Cultural and Nature Adventure in the Andes tour or just international flights?

Our price does not include any flights but we can help you with pleasure to book them. We will offer you a flight bundle once you have done the booking. Usually prices are better when you buy your international flight with domestic. Of course we will be very happy to help you with this issue.

We are definitely interested in this tour. 12/03/22 so would you please be able to send us a revised itinerary and costs please. Regarding PCR tests for entering Bolivia and Chile, can we purchase them there or do we need to get them before?

Peru and Chile are open to tourism if you are vaccinated and have a PCR negative 48 hours before arrival. For Macchu Picchu the train was not operating on regular basis and you would have to take a bus to get there. In Bolivia the borders are closed to Peru and Chile and you will have to fly into Bolivia from Lima. Regarding the PCR test for entering Bolivia and Chile, we will help you to get there with your local guide.

How many travelers are in a group? Which flights do we need to arrange ourselves? Do you have guidance on which planes we need to catch? Do we have to catch a specific flight to fit in with the tour itinerary if so then which ones? What criteria do we have to meet to cross the boarders? Is any COVID testing required at any of the boarder crossings? How do we go about getting COVID tested? What will happen if ANY of the whole group produce a positive COVID test? Do you have any guidance about the cost of COVID testing?

We do not have any interested persons for these group in March or April yet. Anyway, we would be pleased to organize the tour for the four of you. Flights are not included on the package price but we will support you with them. We will book flights according to the program and assist you with finding the best connections. All Andean countries are asking for a vaccination certificate, a PCR Test before entrance and a health insurance that covers COVID. Your local guide will help in getting the test whenever necessary. If your group tests positive, your group will be only the 4 of you. All our partners including buses/guides are controlled strictly for COVID. COVID testing costs range from 35 to 100 USD. By the way, he deserves a promotion and a raise for his diligence, tireless efforts, care and concerns. I wondered if he ever slept. The hotels were strategically located, in walking distance of the center of town. 1 hotel in Santa Cruz, even though nice, was cold, no heat. 2 other hotels had no hot water. It would be also nice to prepare the traveler about weather conditions and high elevation conditions which may affect breathing issues for older adultsShow more

The tour was well organized by Eurolatino (located in Germany) and its local travel operators. We had asked to add 2 days in Puerto Maldonado in the Peruvian Amazon region and skip the last day in Santiago de Chile, which was smoothly accomodated by Eurolatino. Although we never received any vouchers for hotels, tours or transfers, all local guides and drivers were always on time at the designated locations (except for a taxi that our local guide had ordered for the transfer from the pier to Copacabana after our return from Sun Island) and were fully briefed about our itinerary and the booked services. The local guides were very knowledgeable and accomodating to our needs. When our inbound flight from New York was delayed and we therefore arrived in Lima in the afternoon instead of the morning, our local guide managed to still show us the highlights of Lima in one hour instead of the half-day tour originally scheduled. Our local guide in Puno was aware that the Peruvian Migration Office in Yunguyo at the Bolivian border was still closed on the day of our visit (in late April 2023) after the protests in January and February of 2023 and had arranged for us to receive our exit stamp at the Migration Office in Puno harbor before transferring to the border. The only inconvenience was that we received the information about the pick-up time for our morning tour in San Pedro de Atacama at 3am on that morning. We had only tentatively booked the tours in San Pedro, as Javier Cordero of Eurolatino had suggested, and confirmed them 3 days before our arrival in San Pedro. Apparently that caused the schedule to be finalized in the last minute only. For anybody interested in a variety of landscapes and unique features I recommend booking the tours in San Pedro from the beginning. We liked all components of our trip. The big cities Lima, La Paz, Santiago de Chile, in some respects similar but in many respects different and distinct. The djungle tours in Puerto Maldonado. The Inca and colonial history in Cuzco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. The overland tour to the Altiplano from Cuzco to La Paz. The Salt Flats at Uyuni and the lagoons and mountain deserts all the way to San Pedro de Atacama. With hindsight, the only change I would make is rather than carrying our overnight necessities (you can leave the rest of the baggage in the car) up the hill on Sun Island (a higher ascend than on Machu Picchu) for a (certainly very nice) sunset, I would opt to visit the Floating Islands near Puno and then transfer directly to La Paz. The only reason for not giving a 5 star rating is that after we had paid the full price for the trip Javier Cordero tried to sell us an upgrade for the visit to Puerto Maldonado, indicating that the originally booked accomodation was not available. Only after I reminded him that the German law on packaged travel services requires the seller of the travel package to provide the services as described in the itinerary or substantially similar services, he confirmed that the itinerary would be provided for the price paid. Except for this irritation he provided an excellent service.Show more

Dear Erhard, dear Amy, I´m glad to hear that everything went OK and you are very happy with our services. A few remarks on this. Please apologize for the impasse with Puerto Maldonado. I usually do what my providers in Latin AMerica decide and this time, Lima has given me that option for you in Puerto Maldonado, following your very short stay in Puerto Maldonado. It was too short for a longer trip into the jungle. They gave me this option and I transmitted to you as it was. When we chatted, I negotiated to keep the price as it was with a better option. Finally, we gave you this option with Inkaterra, one of the best lodge provider in Peru and probably Latin America. Regarding Puno, it is not possible to do the floating islands and then go to La Paz due to time. It will be oo tiring and not enjoyable. If someone wants to do this, I will suggest to include one more day in the program. And Atacama was for many clients too much, that´s why we are offering this excursions as optional. In definitive, we are very happy to have served you and to be able to organize this trip for you. In the name of all providers, guides and drivers who work for you, I thank you very much and I hope to have the honor to serve you again in the future with other tour in Latin America or Europe. We didn’t even make it to the airport on the first day before he was sending us messages asking for more money for him and talking of canceling the trip. Very unprofessional. I will say most of the day tours were good but not worth dealing with him. This is unfortunate because we poured so much money and used all our vacation time for this. The final straw was him putting us in the nastiest hotel you can imagine and refusing to relocate us on the last stop. I’m talking mold on the walls, and dirty carpet from the 70’s. We still haven’t received a refund for that. I wish I could go back in time and book a different tour. I have called TourRadar 4 times about Javier since booking. I’ve booked many tours with TourRadar and never had this many issues.Show more

Can I split the tour 'Cultural and Nature Adventure in the Andes' to two parts? Total number tour days is still 15 days. Part 1: between Lima and Atacama (Nov. 26 to Dec. 7). Part 2: Santiago (Dec. 29, 30, 31).

  Basically it is possible to split the tour as you planned. We can also give you an offer to get from Atacama to Salta, then probably to Mendoza and cross the Andes Mountains to get to Santiago.

  'Plan A' could be little bit too complex if it is managed by one tour company. If you have a difficulty to make this complex 'Plan A' work, I can go with the 'Plan B'. Can you please let me know the cost of 'Plan B' and how to book it?

  Peru and Chile are open to tourism if you are vaccinated and have a PCR negative 48 hours before arrival. For Macchu Picchu the train was not operating on regular basis and you would have to take a bus to get there. In Bolivia the borders are closed to Peru and Chile and you will have to fly into Bolivia from Lima. Regarding the PCR test for entering Bolivia and Chile, we will help you to get there with your local guide.

How many travelers are in a group? Which flights do we need to arrange ourselves? Do you have guidance on which planes we need to catch? Do we have to catch a specific flight to fit in with the tour itinerary if so then which ones? What criteria do we have to meet to cross the boarders? Is any COVID testing required at any of the boarder crossings? How do we go about getting COVID tested? What will happen if ANY of the whole group produce a positive COVID test? Do you have any guidance about the cost of COVID testing?

  We do not have any interested persons for these group in March or April yet. Anyway, we would be pleased to organize the tour for the four of you. Flights are not included on the package price but we will support you with them. We will book flights according to the program and assist you with finding the best connections. All Andean countries are asking for a vaccination certificate, a PCR Test before entrance and a health insurance that covers COVID. Your local guide will help in getting the test whenever necessary. If your group tests positive, your group will be only the 4 of you. All our partners including buses/guides are controlled strictly for COVID. COVID testing costs range from 35 to 100 USD. Your local guide will look for the best prices.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 22nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 22nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with EUROLATINO Tour Operators. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 40 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
