  I booked the colour of spain from tour radar knowing the tour was assigned to a local company named CLICK TOUR as arriving at the first hotel the information on lobby did not find any click tour or tourradar info yet checking in is the best to find out the local tour is MAPA tour there is not a guide looking after all the way within 5 days 3 guides shifted n changed (not the cities special assigned guides) As most of the reviews said the tour is Spanish overall n English is looked after but little This tour i was the only one who requires english support I went after the guide n asked about meeting time n spots on my own n encountered a few times of losing the group not to say the information about history or special info Yet the iten was good n the hotels were all clean and nice bus was comfy with wifi n phone charger group seems changing everyday with people in and out some have lunch included some not As language issue I didnt know what to do in many situation for once or twice I missed my lunch n had to go back to hotel on my own I had been with tour radar for many years yet this is not a complaint but I hope they can give clearer info about local tour company that we can search for reviews before bookingShow more

  I could not recommend this tour to any Australians unless they can speak Spanish. Our tour (mid November) was a group of about 30 with two English speakers - my wife and myself. Everyone else spoke Spanish. Most of the time we were provided with basic information. Often, a long speech by the guide in Spanish with a quick catch-up for us. But the biggest letdown was at the end of the tour: everything broke up so quickly (different people going on other connected but different journeys) that we did not have the opportunity to say goodbye to other tour members that we had been able to get to know.   Tour was good although little time spent in cordoba and granada. Translation to English was very minimal except for the last day when we had a guide English speaking for ourselves. Group activities non existent..pity cos group split up without group goodbye or farewell event..balkan tours was much much better. Hotels not up to standard either..some very far from centre, no coffee or tea facilities, some even lower than 3*..Show more

  Organisation & communication were very poor. No one met me at the airport so I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel. The 2 ''emergency' phone number used were useless. No reply or entirely in Spanish. Tour Radar did not inform me that the tour was subcontracted to Mapa Tours & the local guide who hosted the evening events said I wasn't with Mapa - consequently they left without me. Once it was sorted, I had to taxi to get to the restaurant to meet my fellow travellers - none of whom spoke English. Very uncomfortable! I was the only English speaker on the tour for the first 2 days - no one spoke English except me & most of the commentary was in Spanish. I could go on & on....... The sights & local guides were excellent & the hotels were good, but I would not recommend this tour to anyone who does not speak Spanish.Show more

  All items on the itinerary were covered, however, it was a large group of 53 people - 5 English speaking with the rest from South American - Spanish speaking. More time was spent on the South Americans & little time to English speaking. A lot of time was wasted each morning & evening going between two standards of accommodation and at points of interest with multi lingual local guides. There needs to be better communication from Click tours, so we know what brand name to look. There was no signage from Click tours anywhere & the joining hotel had never heard of Click tours! Signage at the airport was MAPA plus with no names & at the first hotel MAPA plus. If booking this trip, be aware that unless you pay for the premium package, you will be frustrated at all the wasted time. Also, each day we had different people joining & leaving the trip & for the first few days, no continuity of tour leader. Only 7 of the original 53 people were at the end but still 50 odd people checked into the last hotel.Show more

  Positives: Really liked the itinerary! - Very nice, comfortable buses. - Enjoyed tours in English by local guides in Merida, Cordoba and Granada. - Hotels were either good or excellent. - Good organization. Everything was on schedule. Nobody got lost or forgotten. This is something I admire! Negatives: -Person meeting me at the airport did not have my name on her sign. I passed her about 20 times before asking other people holding signs to call the "emergency number" an hour later. - Hearing too much Spanish and competing for time in English from the tour guides. Ideally, people speaking different languages should be on different buses. Wish we spent an evening in Toledo. Overall we had a very good time. Thank you!Show more
