Can you explain more about the differences between fully and partially guided?

A fully guided tour means you will have a guide with you every day throughout the entire trip. A partially guided tour means there are some free days where you explore on your own. In some cases, for example on tours that combine two countries, one guide will accompany you until the bus station. You then travel independently by bus, and another guide will meet you at the next destination.

What is meant by partially guided, will we have to attend other places on our own etc?

That means that the guide will not be with you in the last 2 days when you are at the beach. Our guided service ends when we drop you at the beach (of course the hotel is included), but if you want to take a surf lesson, it will be on your own. The other days the guide takes is with you during the activities mentioned.

We booked this tour for El Salvador First night , the room has no hot water, only cold Very cheap room I am 57, I was not looking for a camping style , every step of this tour is cheap . We paid for the extra night with tour $350 for 2. It’s expensive and is not worth it. We stayed 8 days For 1 and half day , nothing was organized , they did not even contacted us to check on us . I was very lucky all my life , I traveled extensively, this tour operator is not worth the trip . We paid $1175 x2 plus $580 for the 2 extr nights ,only breakfasts included . Please don’t do our mistake. Find another tour better and professional .Show more

We are sorry to read your commentary, the tour is listed as an adventure tour, as the highlight of the tour is climbing and outdoor activities, The tour is clearly listed as STANDARD accommodation, not superior as is in other packages. The free time is also listed on the program so clients can enjoy the beach, explore, relax, etc. The extra payment was for the marina club wich is over 2 hour driving in distance and with private activities.. WE recommend you carefully read itineraries. We did try to please you in the best possible way. However, was not possible.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 13th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 13th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Inter Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Inter Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
