Itinerary
- Day 1
Juan Santamaría to Sarapiquí
Your representative meets you at Juan Santamaría Airport and arranges your transfer to the lodge in Sarapiquí. Once you arrive, there's time to settle in and wander around the rainforest grounds where you'll see tropical plants, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Later in the evening, a naturalist guide takes you on a two-hour night walk through the forest to spot nocturnal creatures like insects, frogs, and mammals.

- Day 2
Sarapiquí
After breakfast at the lodge, you'll head out for white water rafting on the Sarapiquí River. The 2.5-hour trip covers class II-III rapids through sections called 'Roller Coaster', 'Superman', and 'Air Force'. Your guides explain the local ecosystem as you navigate, and there's a break halfway through where you can swim, cliff jump, and eat fresh tropical fruit. The day ends with lunch at the riverside facilities.
