  We thought when we booked the tour that we would be with a group from day one to the end. It was a little dissappointing to find out the tour was contracted out in 3 different tours and that we were by ourselves for the majority of it as part of the fun is socialising. The 3 day cruise of the greek islands was not great. Very little time was given at the islands and with the amount of time it took to get off the boat at tenders we had no time to explore the islands and enjoy it at all. We literally had enough time for a drink and then get back on the boat. The Turkey part of the tour was good however.... The accomodation at cappadocia was very dissappointing. We are annoyed we upgraded to this, the staff were rude and unhelpful, in addition we had drinks at the rooftop bar the first night and in the restaurant, we had the exact same drinks the second night and were charged almost double the price of the first night. In addition we were charged 650 turkish lira for a bottle of water which is $20 Australian dollars. Absolutely ridiculous. The rest of the hotels were ok but not great. no blanket and only a sheet that didnt fit the bed at most of the hotels. The guide and driver were ok for both the turkey tour Ankara to Istanbul and then the seperate tour of Istanbul. We were extremely impressed with the transfer from hotel to airport, the guy stayed with us to security and helped us with check in. That was the perfect way to end the tour. I think the tour could have done without the rug store, leather store and jewlerry store, we were not interested and it made the days longer. We also could have done without the virgin mary house.Show more

  We really enjoyed the four day tour of Greece the guide was excellent and the hotels on the main really well placed and lovely however we paid for seven day tour we had no contact with group or with anyone else for the first two and felt apart from an organused city tour which we could have done ourselves we really got a four and a half day tour and not a seven day one there was no overall guide no complete groupShow more

  Our tour guide was very poor guide. She often was not clear how long the break was and when to meet. One instance, the bus had to go back to the hotel to pick up one traveller because the bus left about 10 min before the schedule time she announced. She does have knowledge but her english was poor to understand well.Show more

  We absolutely loved the Charming Greece Tour. Our tour guide Filomena (I apologise if I have the name incorrect) had great knowledge and loved to share the knowledge with the group. The hotels we stayed at were all very high quality and enjoyable. The tour itself covered a great amount of different sites to visit and was packed full of great experiences.Show more

  The tour did not follow the itinerary. We were suppose to start with a couple of nights in Athens, however this did not occur. Also on the day of the attorney we spent the first hour going around picking up people for different tours. This also happened on the first day of the 4 night tour. There was very little if any gluten free options. 2 out of 3 of us are gluten intolerant. We did see some wonderful sights, but would liked to have had longer in Delphi and the monasteries in the mountains. Tour guide good - but often in museums and historical sites could not hear what was being said. Often only catching the Italian version.Show more

  It was a bit pricey for such a short trip and for a single traveller. Food: the lunch options were unsatisfactory. No choice in where we go and how we spend our own money. Amenities: the toilets on the bus didn't work for the whole trip. We were given a small bottle of water on the morning of the second day but not on any of the other days. No mobile phone charging points available on the bus. Except for the first night away, the hotels were of a low standard. No choice when booking the trip yet my fellow travellers did have the choice.Show more

  This tour was a great introduction to Greek history and geography. I explored some absolutely amazing destinations, including Meteora, Delphi and of course, Athens the country's vibrant capital. I was lucky enough to have good weather. Not hot not too busy. Fantastic places to go. Good accommodations. There was plenty to see and do and I didn't feel it was too rushed as there was time to also do your own thing as well as the included activities. Amazing memories made along the way. Highly recommended!Show more
