I am traveling with my grandmother and am trying to gauge the physical intensity of this program. She is 85 years old and is fine to walk at a slow pace on flat ground. If there is a significant amount of elevation in walking and stairs, then she would not be able to keep up. Would this trip be able to accommodate her physical limitations? A perfect example is that she would not be able to walk up to the Acropolis, but would be perfect to get a taxi up if that is an option.

Yes tour was excellent only minor problems regarding crowding not able to get into Delphi museum . Whilst tour guides were proficient in detail of explanation there was too much detail and too much time spent explaing superfluous information ... this could have been better used viewing more items ... A little more time in Hydra as thus was too quick I recall only 30 minutes ...an hour would have been better and not delayed arrival back to Athens .only 30 minutes more. Overall excellent organisation pick ups drop off's and transfers were appreciated. Thankyou so muck for arranging all professionally. Edward Cioffi.Show more

We enjoyed our tours, however, a few things need improvement. When the bus picked us up from the hotel, we then proceeded to pick up others and then go to a meeting place with other buses. No one explained this to us. By the time we switched busses and got on our way, 2 hours had already gone by and we weren't going to make a bathroom stop for another 2 hours! Very uncomfortable. That was for all 3 of our tours. Also, on the 3 island cruise, we were taken to the ship, and again, no communication, we waited for so long and there were so many people there and getting in front of us etc. and by the time we got on the boat there were virtually no seats left. Also, on the Athens tour, the last stop was the acropolis and by that time t was high noon and the hottest part of the day. We should have done that at 9am when it was beautiful and breezy instead of being inside in the museum with the airconditioning. We also weren't given individual tickets, so it was a bit of a problem for us to come back to see what we missed for the museum. Luckily the tour guide went back and got my husband and I the individual tickets. One last thing, the hotel was nice, however it was not in walking distance to anything. So we always had to take a taxi to the center of Athens and back which added extra costs. And the breakfast time wasn't started until 7am and our bus was scheduled to get us at 725am, so we had to rush our breakfast to then sit on the bus for nearly 2 hours and drive around and then to the meeting place. We have used Tourradar in the past and this was not the case at all on our other tours. They were fantastic and very well organized.Show more
