- Day 1
Berlin to Poznan
After arriving at Berlin East Train Station around 1:30 pm, you'll board a bus heading toward Poznan. The route takes you through the Wasowo estate where you'll stop to taste organic products and learn about sustainable farming practices. Dinner happens right there at the estate, giving you time to meet your tour guide and fellow travelers before continuing on to Poznan for your first night.

Poznan - Gniezno - Torun
Start the day with a guided walk through Poznan's old town, where you'll check out the market square and its colorful merchants' houses along with the old town hall. Stop at a traditional café to try the local Martinshornchen pastry. After that, head to Gniezno to see the coronation cathedral where Polish kings were crowned, then continue on to Torun. This UNESCO World Heritage Site sits on the Vistula River and you'll notice the impressive Gothic architecture right away. Walk around the Old Town Hall area, and as evening comes, sit down for dinner with traditional Polish rye flour soup.

Thorn to Krutyn
A guided tour walks you through Thorn's Gothic architecture, covering the streets where Copernicus was born and spent his early years. If gingerbread appeals to you, Thorner gingerbread is available to try throughout the day. From there, you'll drive via Olsztyn to reach Krutyn, settling into a country hotel on the Krutynia River where you'll stay for three nights.

Krutyn
This morning involves a hike through the Zakret forest reserve, where you'll pass the legendary Love Trees along the way. After the walk, a relaxing punt boat ride on the Krutynia River follows, with your ferryman propelling the boat by pushing off the river bottom. Back at the hotel for dinner, the evening finishes with everyone gathering around a cozy campfire.

Swieta Lipka - Ketrzyn - Masurian Lakes
Begin at the pilgrimage site of Heiligelinde (Swieta Lipka) where you'll listen to an organ concert inside the pilgrimage church of the Annunciation, a baroque style building in northern Poland. Travel next to the Wolf's Lair memorial near Rastenburg (Ketrzyn) to learn about the historical resistance efforts of Count von Stauffenberg. By evening, you have the option to take a boat trip through the Masurian Lakes if that interests you, which gives you a chance to see the scenic water and landscape.

Frombork to Gdansk
The day starts with a stop in Frombork to see Frauenburg Cathedral, known for its opulent Baroque interior. From there, you'll continue to Gdansk and the historic old town, where Hanseatic architecture lines the streets. You'll settle into the city center for three nights, with plenty of time to get oriented.

Gdansk
Take a guided city tour of Gdansk, the impressive port city. Stroll along the Long Market Square where you'll see the magnificent pastel-colored patrician houses, the Town Hall, and Neptune Fountain. Walk from there along the riverbank to reach the Crane Gate, a famous Gdansk landmark built between 1442 and 1444 as Europe's largest harbor crane during medieval times. Check out St. Mary's Church, which is the world's largest medieval brick church.
