- Day 1
Frankfurt to Bangkok
Your flight departs Frankfurt heading to Bangkok today. Depending on when you take off, you might have meals served during the journey, and you'll land in Thailand ready to kick off your tour.
- Day 2
Bangkok
You'll land in Bangkok and get settled at your hotel. Once evening rolls around, hop on a tuk tuk to head through Chinatown and check out the flower market. The ride itself becomes part of the experience as your guide shows you around the city at night, and you'll try various street food along the way.

- Day 3
Bangkok
Start early with a boat tour through Bangkok's khlongs in Thonburi, where you'll see wooden houses, temples, and local cookshops that show the city's traditional character. After that, you'll get to Wat Arun and the Grand Palace. The afternoon takes you to Baan Batr and Wat Saket, known as the Golden Mountain, where you can catch views across the whole city from up there.

- Day 4
Bangkok to Uthai Thani
Head out from Bangkok toward Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with impressive Buddhist monuments to walk through. From there, you'll travel through green countryside to a local village where people teach you about drum making and natural cosmetics. Later you'll reach Uthai Thani to see Wat Tha Sung and its crystal temple, plus the Golden Temple. After checking into your room, there's a short Thai language lesson scheduled.

Uthai Thani to Sukhothai
Wake up before sunrise to participate in the alms-giving ritual with monks, a central Buddhist practice. Next comes the historical park at Kamphaeng Phet, where you'll see temple ruins and try egg bananas from the region. In the afternoon, continue to Sukhothai to walk around well-kept temples set within parkland. Dinner is at a local Thai restaurant in the evening.

Sukhothai to Phrae
Make your way to Phrae province, a quieter area without heavy tourist crowds. You'll visit Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkhon Khiri to see its massive reclining Buddha. At a local workshop, learn how the traditional 'Mo Hom' indigo dye process works and create your own dyed fabric. A special northern Thai lunch of Khao Soy comes next, and then you'll have the afternoon free at your accommodation.

Phrae to Chiang Rai
The day begins by visiting two old homes of Phrae's former nobles, which show a mix of traditional Lanna architecture and European influences. Then you'll head toward Chiang Rai and stop at Wat Rong Khun, the white temple that looks particularly good when lit by evening light.

- Day 8
Chiang Rai to Mae Chan
After visiting Wat Rong Sua Ten, the Blue Temple, you'll travel to the Golden Triangle where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet. A local museum helps you understand the region's history with the opium trade. From there, a viewpoint gives you views of the Mekong River and the countries across it. Your overnight will be in Mae Chan, though you're first heading to Mae Sai, Thailand's furthest northern city.

Mae Chan to Chiang Mai
You'll learn about hill tribe life in northern Thailand's remote areas. The village of Santikhiri is where you'll taste tea and check out Wat Santikhiri temple, which sits among terraced tea fields with great views all around. After that, you'll travel to Chiang Mai, where you'll be staying for three nights.

Chiang Mai
Get around Chiang Mai by rickshaw, stopping at Wat Pan Tao built entirely from teak wood and the detailed Wat Phra Singh. The silver quarter is next, where you can see traditional silversmithing at Wat Sri Supan and watch craftspeople work. After lunch, you'll have time to relax before heading to Doi Suthep in the late afternoon to see the city spread out below you. Your evening is free to do what you'd like.
