Can you please advise if the travellers can get some type of transportation in Santorini? Because they would like to visit some sights and would like to have transportation to them. Also, can you please advise if the basket for the Hot Air Balloon ride has doors open? Or the travellers will need to climb in?

Basilica Cistern is not in this package and the cistern is open between 09:00am and 10:00 pm. The day visits will end at 06:00 pm so after that they can visit. We advise to purchase the tickets in advance. If you arrive early on Day 1, you can also visit it on your arrival day. The basket is fully closed and the customer are claiming with a ladder

Overall the tour was good. However, in Turkey 2 day's were wasted travelling all day. In Greece we have no contac person to address issues raised during the trip. I.e. In Samos the boat departure was cancelled and we received only a message with the notification . In the meantime we have to leave the hotel at midday and spent the time until midnight with no accommodation. In Santorini the tour guide didn't speak englishShow more

It’s a good trip though the Best of Turkey side was really full of activities and felt rushed once we left Istanbul. Even though we spent a night in the capital Ankara, it felt as though we were never really there. Once we got to Capadocia it was like a totally different world, same with Pamukkale, beautiful parts and probably the best two regions in the trip, though the experience left me wishing we have spent more time in them. Greece half of the trip was a complete change of pace which was nice. All in All a good trip if you want to see highlights of Turkey without minding the fast pace with a laid back experience thru the Greek isles and in Athens.Show more

  Regarding Basilica cistern- can we purchase the tickets from you? Regarding transportation from our hotel to the basilica and back will you be able to provide transport? Regarding the Hot air balloon- climbing in to the basket, is there a separate ladder to assist us in climbing in and out of the basket? We are in our seventies able to walk and climb steps but climbing the sides of the basket will be difficult and we will need some help please. In Santorini are there guided coach tours?

  Cistern Basilica tickets are sold online via Passo (affiliate of Istanbul municipality) Price varies between 09:00am-06:30pm is 1950TL and 07:30pm-10:00pm 3000TL(75USD). Its location is just 50 meter far from Hagia Sophia and 200 m from Blue Mosque so you will be already there. A private transportation will be much pricey. Our guide will help you to climb. Our customer are almost all seniors around your age. In Santorini we have Traditional Caldera cruise with dinner (between 3 pm and 8 pm) and its cost is 140USD per person. There is a guided tour but it is not organized on the day you are visiting. But in case there is an opening (most probably yes) I will let you know.
