We were pleased with the design of the tour and the responsiveness of EuroBike. The bikes were in excellent condition and our luggage arrived in a timely fashion each day. There are two issues we had: 1. We received misinformation regarding the first day of the bike and tour documents handover. This created a great deal of uncertainty and confusion. 2. Hotel Asgard in Worms is a hotel that should never be used. It is in a terrible location and doesn’t have air conditioning. The staff were wonderful at the hotel, but the location is very noisy and it is in a very unscenic part of town. There are surely better hotels in Worms than this one.Show more

To start we found the intial tour briefing lacking of clear information. Overall the accommodation was excellent. Our main issue was in route navigation particuarly the first and last day. On the first day the route from the hotel to the start of the ride across the bridge was in heavy traffic and some riders were not comfortable. If the ride started across the bridge it would be better. On the ladt day the route to Lisbon was dangerous. At about half way we had to navigate along a very narrow walk way only centimeters from a very busy and fast road with heavy traffic, this was not safe and we decided to walk some 5klms.This route should be changed. Another issue was the bikes. They wefe very heavy and 2 of the riders at 5ft 2in in height had difficulty controlling the bikes at low speed. There was another srction on the first day where ee rode on a wooden pathway through swampy areas. This patheay wad in poor repair, rotten boards and hugh holes in the wooden bikeway. The area is dangerous and should be avoided. Despite the above we enjoyed the ride, great hotels, great scenery, great people and lots of fun.Show more
