We unfortunately cannot offer the booking of train tickets. We can offer a return transfer by minibus from Merano to Resia every Saturday, Sunday and Monday, costs EUR 85 per person. You hike on good hiking trails, often along the "Waalwege", beautiful hiking trails and paths, as well as gravel roads. There are some steeper, rocky sections where surefootedness is required. We recommend a good basic level of fitness and hiking experience. The stages can be shortened and simplified using public transport. The breakfast is included, we unfortunately cannot offer this tour with halfboard. Not all accommodations we book have a own restaurant. But you will reach a good restaurant within a few minutes' walk in all stage towns. The tour is an individual tour and the hikes take place without a guide and without a group. However, the hiking trails are well known and you will definitely meet other hikers along the way. The tour is suitable for women traveling alone. You will always make it to the next stage. If necessary, you can take a cab and drive to the next town. In general, it is a very touristy area and there are generally lots of buses/trains.

One minor thing is that there was a bus pickup location specified towards the end of one of the hikes, it would've been nice to get picked up given you're in unfamiliar territory rather than fumbling your way around and hoping you get on the right bus and go where you're supposed to.Show more
