Itinerary
- Day 1
Athens - Corinth - Nafplio
Start the day at the Acropolis with a licensed guide walking through the Parthenon and its iconic structures. After that, you'll head to Ancient Corinth where you can walk around the ruins and check out the Temple of Apollo along with the impressive Canal of Corinth cutting through the landscape. By evening, settle into Nafplio, a coastal town with cobblestone streets and Venetian architecture that gives the place real character.

- Day 2
Nafplio - Mycenae - Epidaurus - Olympia
This morning you'll explore Mycenae and see the famous Lion Gate plus the royal tombs where King Agamemnon was buried. From there, drive to Epidaurus to visit the ancient theater known for perfect acoustics and walk around the Sanctuary of Asclepius. Later in the day, head to Ancient Olympia where the Olympic Games started, and you can see temples, stadiums, and training grounds spread throughout the site.

- Day 3
Olympia - Zakynthos Island
Start at Ancient Olympia checking out the temples, stadiums, and training grounds. Then walk through the local flea market in Olympia where you'll find handcrafted goods and can taste authentic Greek wine and olive oil. After lunch, you'll transfer to the port and take a ferry to Zakynthos Island, known for its clear waters, dramatic cliffs, and beautiful beaches along the way.

- Day 4
Zakynthos Island - Blue Caves & Shipwreck Cruise
After breakfast, head to Zakynthos Marina for a boat cruise. You'll visit the Blue Caves where sunlight creates turquoise waters that shift to emerald green. Spend about 1.5 hours swimming at Shipwreck Beach with its distinctive cove and clear water. The boat then stops at Porto Vromi, Agalas Caves, and Keri Caves for photos. Later you'll swim with sea turtles at Turtle Island in the Laganas and Kalamaki gulf, then spend an hour swimming at St Nicholas and Basilikos before returning to your hotel.

- Day 5
Zakynthos - Peloponnese - Dimitsana
Begin on Zakynthos Island with the Blue Caves and Shipwreck Beach. Travel to the Peloponnese and ride the historic Diakofto-Kalavryta Cog Railway through mountain passes with views of deep gorges and forests. You'll then explore the Cave of the Lakes with underground pools, stalactites, and stalagmites flowing throughout. End your day in Dimitsana, a mountain village where you can wander cobblestone streets and browse artisan shops for authentic Greek village atmosphere.

- Day 6
Dimitsana - Lousios Gorge - Athens
Starting from Dimitsana, take a self-guided hike through Lousios Gorge surrounded by cliffs, forests, and nature. You'll see historic monasteries perched on the cliffs offering views and insight into the region's spiritual past. Explore at your own pace with time for photos and taking in the scenery. After the hike, transfer back to Athens thinking over your trip through ancient history, coastal areas, mountains, and authentic Greek culture. A shorter walk option exists if you prefer.
