  We want to schedule this tour with another couple and be on the tour with them. Can we book seperately for the same date and automatically be together in the tour? Also When we arrive at the airport in Lisbon on Oct 22 how do you know when to schedule our transfer to the Hotel?

    There are our cancellation terms according the cancellation days:
    Before departure Cancellation fee penalty
    31 days or more: Euro 100
    30/11 days before the circuit starts: 100 euro + 10%
    10/01 days before the circuit starts: 100 euro + 25%
    No show 100% No show: 100 % of booking cost (tour and any extra services booked)
    
    No shows at the start of the trip, without prior cancellation, will not be entitled to any refund (except force majeure, which will be examined on a case by case basis).
    
    Different cancellation conditions apply for some programs (circuits that include train / airplane / cruise routes; or circuits to Kenya and Tanzania); and during particularly difficult dates (fairs, special events, periods involving increased hotel booking difficulties).
    
    In the event that the cancellation prior to the trip is produced by justified and demonstrable force majeure, only the costs of processing and services that cannot be cancelled will be charged, as well as the costs that must be absorbed by other providers (transfer on arrival, hotel in first city stay in the absence of prior notice, etc.). We recommend taking out insurance against cancellation in all cases.
    
    Recommended is € 25 per person. with a high budget (eat in restaurants the two meals daily): € 30/40 per person approximately.

    What does the basic insurance covers? Also, you mentioned that the date of tour will only be confirmed weekly. This is a concern as we have to book our air tickets at least 3 months in advance.

    Europamundo has taken out travel insurance with Europ Assistance to cover all passengers. The policy comes into effect on arriving at the destination, at the start of the services with Europamundo and it expires when the circuit arranged by our company has ended. Consequently, it does not include incidents during flights or stays before or afterwards that have not been booked with our company.
    
    Guarantees - Cover limit:
    -Medical expenses - (excess amount of € 50 per claim, payable by the insured person). - 3000 €
    -Dentistry expenses. - 60 €
    -Extended hospitalisation due to illness or accident. - € 80/day. Max. 10 days.
    -Transfer of sick and wounded persons. - Unlimited
    -Transfer of mortal remains. - Unlimited
    -Return of accompanying insured persons. - Unlimited
    -Sending of medicines abroad - Included
    -Travel of one person to accompany the hospitalised insured person. - Unlimited

If your luggage is worth more than the inclusion cover, we suggest you declare it before starting the tour and take out extra insurance that provides additional cover.

    We did not indicate that the tour date will only be confirmed weekly, we said that We evaluate the situation on each destination every week, should we find a significant change that forces us to cancel the departure we will promptly inform you. In the past, due to these changing situations we have been forced to cancel a departure up to seven days prior to the departure date. In the case of a cancellation we will work with you in order to find another suitable departure, or to give you the refund of the total of your payment.
    We will not be held liable to any other costs incurred such as airfare or hotels not booked with us. We understand that this is a situation less than ideal, but we owe you total clarity.
    
    However, for your peace of mind, in the last year, we haven't had any cancellation of any of our tours. Only small modifications to guarantee the tour.

    I notice that the group on your tours are not the same for the entire trip. There are passengers added or reduced at different points of the tour. What would be the cost for 6 persons to go on a 12 day tour based on the highlights listed below?

    Thanks Gaby. I have already viewed the itinerary on your website. I wanted a quote based on the information I had sent you. Your tour does not go the Aqueduct of Segovia and Porto. Since the tour does not include lunch and diners, could you give an estimate of my additional costs?
    
    I probably have 6 guests for the tour. Does the tour consist of the six of us for the duration of the tour or would there be other guests?

    We do not have information about these additional costs, it depends on each passenger where they want to have lunch or dinner.
    
    You will be using a coach bus to travel within each country. It is great opportunity to meet other like minded fellow travellers and create a trip of a life time.
    The transportation on this trip is via motor coach. You will be travelling on this motor coach with up to 50 other like minded travellers from around the world.

    On the last day the tour finishes at our arrival in LISBON around 20.00 hrs.. The bus comes to a stop at a 4-star hotel, we work with several of them, but I cannot tell you which one yet for we are still on the booking phase for this tour. Should you need it we may provide a post-night tour guaranteed at the hotel we arrive,

    Day 12 SEVILLE , MONSARAZ , EVORA , LISBON
    Total distance: 460 km
    HIGHLIGHTS: a beautiful scenery where we will visit walled villages. Evora Chapel of bones.Scenery: Attractive landscapes of white-painted villages, mountain ranges and castles.Note: In Portugal we must set our watches back one hour.
    08.15 hrs.- We will leave Seville and journey toward western Andalusia. Eye-pleasing landscapes will greet us en route amidst the hills and olive groves as we enter Extremadura.
    11.00 hrs.- JEREZ DE LOS CABALLEROS, we will make a stop in this town that once belonged to the Knights Templar and where Vasco Núñez de Balboa was born.
    13.00 hrs- Jerez de los Caballeros. We will continue our trip and enter Portugal.
    13.30 (14.30 hrs in Spain) - MONSARAZ, one of the most picturesque villages in Portugal with fortified walls, a castle, great views and white-painted streets brimming with flowerpots. Time to have lunch.
    15.00 hrs.- Monsaraz- Departure.
    16.00 hrs.- EVORA, a city declared a World Heritage Site thanks to its white-painted streets, Renaissance palaces and cathedral. We will also visit the impressive Chapel of Bones (admission included), which was built using the bones from over 5000 skeletons!
    18.00 hrs- Evora- Departure.
    20.00 hrs.- LISBON- We will arrive toward the end of the day.

    Important note: In case you have to book an external service (plane/train...) on the day of the end of your tour with activities included, please remember that the schedules of the detailed itineraries are the "planned" ones but may be affected by different circumstances (traffic density, customer delays, breakdowns...). Do not book a flight/train with a tight schedule without taking this into account.
    Always leave a margin in the schedule for unforeseen events.

    Europamundo has taken out travel insurance with Europ Assistance to cover all passengers. The policy comes into effect on arriving at the destination, at the start of the services with Europamundo and it expires when the circuit arranged by our company has ended. Consequently, it does not include incidents during flights or stays before or afterwards that have not been booked with our company. Detailed information on the General Terms and Conditions and exclusions of the policy is available at My Trip or it can be requested from Europ Assistance.
    
    Procedure to follow: in the event of requiring assistance, contact the guide so that he/she can start the formalities. If this is not possible, contact the insurance company directly so that it can provide the assistance.
    
    In the event of having to initiate medical assistance, the company will apply a fee of €50, which the client must pay.
    
    It is essential to contact the 24-hour centralised assistance office of EUROP ASSISTANCE to request any service connected with the travel insurance, they will explain how to proceed in each case.
    
    Bear in mind that when requesting medical assistance, it is common for your insurance company to tell you to go to the hospital that is most appropriate for your state of health, where they will be better able to diagnose the problem than in the hotel (where the doctors have very few resources to make an accurate evaluation). It may also occur that on occasions, due to the fact that the medical assistance requested is for mild cases, the hospital may ask you to pay the invoice in full. You can request a refund of such expenses afterwards from Europ Assistance. In all cases, you must present the original invoices and justifying documents.

    There is no timing mentioned on the itinerary regarding the end time, but we can see that the tour does not finish till late evening. We have reached out to the operator to confirm the time and they will write back to you soon.
    
    If you do want to spend an extra night and fly back home the next day, we can help arrange a post-night accommodation for you.

    The tour ends on September 21st and there is no accommodation included in the package that night, but we can provide you the cost for post-night accomodation and add to the booking so you can relax that night and fly home next day.

    Although not mandatory, we highly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance. When selecting a travel insurance policy we recommend a minimum coverage of USD 200,000 for repatriation and emergency rescue.     We cannot guarantee vegetarian meals, we can notify the guides so that they take into account that you are vegetarian, but since our breakfasts are buffet style, you can choose between all the foods that are offered, those that you can eat. In the dinner included in Fatimaal to be contracted in advance, they will not be able to choose, but the guide will take it into account in case he can do something.

    More and more towns and entire countries in Europe are not allowing unvaccinated passengers to enter restaurants, shows, places and even hotels.
    
    Due to the international health situation, a printed vaccination certificate as well as on your mobile devise is advised to bring with you along the tour, since it will be required in many European countries as a passport to access means of transport, museums, restaurants, breakfast rooms, etc. Remember that not having this certificate may complicate the development of your tour.
