Itinerary
- Day 1
Bhubaneswar to Konark to Chilika Lake
Your hotel picks you up in Bhubaneswar early and you'll drive out through Odisha's countryside toward Konark. The Sun Temple is your main stop once you arrive, and you'll spend time looking at the detailed stone carvings while your guide explains the Hindu mythology behind the structure. After that, head into the Konark Museum to see sculptures and other artifacts from the area. Grab a traditional Odia lunch at a local restaurant (you'll pay for this separately). Later in the afternoon, you're heading to Chilika Lake for a boat ride where dolphins sometimes show up. By evening, you'll watch the sun go down over Asia's largest brackish lagoon before heading back to your hotel.
