My driver met me at the hotel and took me to the airport, a driver was waiting for me in Uyuni, and the tour was waiting for me to get started. The tour covered everything in the itinerary and we had perfect conditions for the Salt Flats. We stayed in hostels and the one was as bare minimum as you could get. No electricity, no running water, no wifi but they did have a lovely hot spring to soak in. Nothing wrong with going off the grid although the workers at that hostel were horrible and angry and very negative towards us (it was very odd).Show more

Weather was all over the place yet it was wonderful to experience it all. There was an issue with last planned event in Ushuaia as organizers for penguin tour demanded additional payment despite such event being included as part of the tour package. Kudos to Christina for sorting out the issue and resolving properly. Tip: Keep a printed copy of what is included and not included with package.Show more
