  A flawless, unforgettable trip to India A trip to India had always been a dream I hadn’t yet managed to fulfill. The opportunity came up last minute, and since I didn’t have much time to plan, I turned to a tour operator, Agra Trip Holidays and it was truly the best decision I made for this trip. I was in contact with Arun, and within a couple of days he had put together an 8-day, 7-night itinerary (New Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Agra e Varanasi). We opted for a private tour, and he happily accommodated several changes I requested to tailor the basic tour to my needs (even when that meant some extra cost on his end). The result was a perfect mix of culture, history, nature, and spirituality. Honestly, everything was flawless. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, the drivers were always punctual and drove safely, and the hotels were carefully chosen, adding even more comfort to the trip. Every visit was accompanied by a professionali guide, which made each stop even more meaningful and insightful. The overall content of the tour made the experience memorable, comfortable, and completely stress-free. I really appreciated everyone’s punctuality, all carefully overseen by Arun himself.   A great tour that made it very easy to see a lot of India very quickly! I appreciated Arun's personalized check-ins via Whatsapp and dedicated attention throughout my tour and as a solo female traveler I felt very safe and taken care of. I had some great guides - shoutout to Sunny in Agra, who patiently answered all my historical questions, Alvina in New Delhi, and Mukesh in Jaipur who were great. My driver Faisal was very kind and faithfully ferried me everywhere. My lone complaint would be about shifts to the itinerary which didn't align 100% with what was described on the website. Totally understand shifting based on timing and availability, and I loved the sites we went to, but I would have loved a little more transparency especially since I felt I was directed to a lot of tourist stores without much heads' up. Overall though, I had a great time and would go with the company again.Show more

  The tour was very well organized. Our Indian tour agent/contact was always very responsive to our needs and questions. We were always met on time by our guides and drivers. The guides were all very knowledgeable and could answer all of our questions and gave us enough time to enjoy the sites. All spoke excellent English and many had advanced degrees in history. Our main driver, Ali, was the best! He was very professional in dress and manners. Cared about us and always provided cold water and snacks. He was a superb driver and we never felt we were in danger since driving in India is crazy. Overall I would highly recommend this tour.Show more

  This has been a tremendous trip with very informed and engaging guides, skilled drivers, wonderful places to explore and memorable experiences. All the pick-ups were timely or early, starting with our Delhi airport pickup. Communication was consistently good and proactive from our guides and drivers. The best driver was Aktar Ali who was with us from Delhi to Jaipur to Rathambore to Agra-- over several days. He was a very safe and skillful driver, and thoughtful in stacking the car with ample water and snacks. He also shared a bit about his family and culture with us which we appreciated. Bhagirath Singh Rathore was an excellent guide in Jaipur as was Varun Arawak in Varanasi. Varun invited us to his home on the evening of Holi, which was a real treat to meet the family and learn more about their culture.Show more

  The Agra Taj Visit team was superb! Everything went smoothly. Arun checked on me everyday via whatsapp to make sure that I was satisfied with the day’s tour and had no issues. Akthar, the driver was polite and always on time. I felt very safe riding with him. His car was always clean and had a basket full of free snacks! The experienced local guides for each city were fantastic! It was an amazing 7-day tour and quite an experience! I saw a tiger in the wild, got amazed by the architecture and history of the centuries old UNESCO heritage sites, witnessed India's old traditions of worship, rode the busy Indian train, cruised the calm river Ganges in a rowboat, got around the hectic streets by foot, car, motorbike and rickshaw. I ate delicious Indian food and met wonderful people.Show more

  This tour by Agra Taj Visit was my first time ever in India. I wanted to choose something (among the 1000s of tours offered) that would give me a good mix of Indian culture, history, nature. I am pleased that this tour offered all of these and much more! My experience started in Delhi when I was picked up by my tour guide for that city and my driver for most of my journey, a wonderful man named Mr. Akhtar Ali. The journey around Delhi was made in comfort, using an air-conditioned car. I had requested some slight changes to the itinerary and the tour group was more than happy to accommodate, allowing me to see everything I wanted in Delhi. Towards evening, I parted ways with my tour guide and Mr. Ali then drove me to Jaipur where I stayed the night, then met with another tour guide the next morning. We toured the sites of Jaipur, and then it was on to Ranthambore National Park! The resort at Ranthambore that the tour group booked for me was exemplary in its comfort and service. The staff was very kind, especially the kitchen staff, offering to make custom foods and even preparing a breakfast package since I was supposed to check out too early for breakfast on my last day. The safaris themselves allowed me to see some great wildlife (although the park's tigers refused to make an appearance). After Ranthambore, it was another car ride to Agra, city of the Taj Mahal. I had about 3/4 of a day in Agra, which is the perfect amount of time in my opinion. Along the way, we also stopped at the ruined fort of Fatehpur Sikri, a gorgeous UNESCO site. From Agra, Mr. Akhtar Ali made sure I boarded a train and found my seat and then we parted ways as I headed to Varanasi. The train accommodations were as comfortable as you can reasonably expect for a sleeper car and I got off at Varanasi and met my next tour guide, Mr. Varun and our driver. Varun was great as well, showing me the city, with its labyrinthine layout and the masses of worshippers waiting to purify themselves in the holy waters of the Ganges River. We saw the Ganga Aarti ritual, a truly magical experience. Unfortunately, the waters of the Ganges were too high and the current too dangerous for us to go on a boat ride, perhaps my biggest disappointment, but these things cannot be predicted and I instead got to do a sunrise walk along the river. From there, it was a ride to the Varanasi Airport to Delhi and the end of a magical, unforgettable tour of India. Pros: Great service - I mentioned before that Mr. Akhtar Ali, my driver in Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore, and Agra was great and I want to re-iterate that here. He was kind and professional and he helped me feel at ease in this intimidating country. I fell a little sick during my visit and he gave me valuable recommendations on how to feel better. He also was great at explaining different things about India as we drove. You should definitely try to have Mr. Ali as your driver! Tour guides - They were all professional and accommodating to whatever I wanted to see. They would interceded on my behalf with the locals and they were quite knowledgeable Hotels - The hotels booked by the tour group were quite comfortable and helped put my Western mind at ease. Ranthambore Regency in particular is a standout example Experiences - From tigers to the Taj, this tour gives you a variety of things to do and you will not be bored on this tour! Cons: The pacing can be fast, but that is to be expected on a tour of India, particularly the one I chose. Tours are customizable, though. Sometimes, the tour guides will take to specialty shops where merchants will try to get you to buy things. It wasn't as bad on this tour as others I have been on, but after a while I did get a bit tired of that. The shops are very high quality, but sometimes I did not want to sit through a 15 minute sales pitch for something I could not afford.Show more
