  Having just completed the 12-day South India temple tour, I am completely awestruck. From the monolithic wonders of Mahabalipuram to the towering, vibrant gopurams of Madurai and Thanjavur, the architecture is breathtaking.   Hi, I have given you an 'okay' but I have to say that if I had known how bad your organisation is I would never have booked it. The good/excellent bits: The driver Mr. Bala was excellent once the tour got underway. Some of the hotels were top class and really appreciated. Others were good but some were not up to standard and did not supply sealed water, were very small . Some of the distances between hotels were up to 100 miles and on very poor roads with the result that we did not reach destinations until late in the day and very long journeys. We had only 3 local guides out of the whole trip. Our driver did speak good English and although he did try to help us understand what he was showing us had we had more guides at stops was very limited. Although we asked a number of times we were NEVER given the names or locations of the hotels to stay at. As a result our incoming plane did not arrive until 3am at Chennai. We could not locate our driver, who did not show up at all until late afternoon on the date of arrival. We heard a whusper that we could be staying af the Clarian hotelShow more

  We visit a 12-day historical South India temple tour and it was the trip of a lifetime. The tour was organized by a reliable and experienced tour operator and they provided us with an incredible experience. The tour included visits to some of the most famous temples in South India, including the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai, Brihadeeshwara Temple in Thanjavur, and the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam. Each temple was incredibly beautiful and awe-inspiring in its own way. My favourite was the Meenakshi Amman Temple, which was simply breathtaking. The tour also included visits to the famous Nilgiri Hill Station and the historic city of Mysore. The views from the top of the hill station were simply amazing and the city of Mysore was full of rich history and culture. The tour was well-organized and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about the region. He was able to provide us with valuable insights into the history and culture of South India. The food served during the tour was also delicious and varied. Overall, I had an amazing experience on this 12-day historical South India temple tour. It was an educational and enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the beauty and culture of South India.Show more

  We booked 12 Days Historical South India Temple Tour through Travelcon and it was a memorable trip for an aged couple like us.We planned this tour on a private basis so that we can stop where ever we wanted and continue the tour as per our choice.The whole tour was well planned and Itinerary well designed after our approval.Hemender was very accommdating and available through out the tour.The car was spacious,neat and clean and driver too was very good.Hotel accommodation at all places were very comfortable.Finally it was a memorable trip.Show more
