Itinerary
- Day 1
Jaipur
Your hotel picks you up early morning for a full day around Jaipur's main sights. First stop is Amber Fort where you'll ride an elephant up to the palace and walk through the courtyards and rooms. From there, Jaigarh Fort is close by, so you head over to check out the cannons and fortifications. Later you'll see Jal Mahal sitting out on the lake, then make your way to Galtaji Temple where sacred water tanks are tucked between the cliffs. The afternoon takes you through Sisodia Rani Garden to see the painted walls and terraces. You'll stop at Jantar Mantar to look at the old astronomical instruments, then tour the City Palace complex where Chandra Mahal is the main building. Hawa Mahal, the five-story pink palace with all those small windows, comes next. Before heading back to your hotel, you'll visit Birla Temple, the white marble structure. This is a packed itinerary that hits most of Jaipur's major landmarks in one day.
