Arrival
You'll start with a welcome dinner where you meet your Travel Director and other travelers. It's a chance to relax over a meal with wine and get to know the group before heading out on the tour.

Dublin
A Local Expert will take you through Dublin's elegant squares, and you'll see Custom House and both Christchurch and St. Patrick's Cathedrals. You get to see the 9th century Book of Kells and walk around Trinity College's historic courtyards.

Dublin to Cork via Kilkenny and Cahir
You'll head to Kilkenny first to visit the majestic Kilkenny Castle. After that, you continue through Cahir to see its imposing 13th-century castle (which was featured in 'Excalibur'), then arrive in Cork. Your Travel Director shows you around this compact university city, pointing out the vibrant waterfront and grand Georgian streets.

Cork to Killarney via Blarney
You can kiss the famous Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle if you want to. Then you traverse the Derrynasaggart Mountains to reach Killarney, where you have a Farm-to-Table dining experience at chef John Sheehan's guesthouse. You'll try fresh local cuisine and learn about Irish recipes.

Killarney
You choose your own adventure here: either ride a horse-drawn jaunting car with local jarveys or take a gentle hike with a Local Expert past Ross Castle through Killarney National Park. Later you explore the Ring of Kerry's 111-mile route with mountains, valleys, lakes and coastal scenery, hitting villages like Sneem and Queen Victoria's Ladies View, then you have a leisurely afternoon to relax.

Killarney to Adare
You'll explore the Dingle Peninsula's wide skies, peaceful towns and coastal scenery that inspired the film Ryan's Daughter. You drive to dramatic Slea Head at the peninsula's far end, then pass through the thatched village of Adare before reaching your hotel.

Adare to Galway via Cliffs of Moher and the Burren
You visit the Visitor Centre at the dramatic 700-foot Cliffs of Moher to take in the views of the Clare Coast. After that you drive through the unique, rocky landscape of the Burren to Galway Bay, where you see historic landmarks including the Lynch Memorial, Church of St. Nicholas (where Christopher Columbus reportedly prayed), the Spanish Arch, and Eyre Square.

Galway to Londonderry
You cross into Northern Ireland through Donegal, admiring the Blue Stack Mountains along the way. You'll reach Londonderry (Derry), the ancient walled city, where Ronan (one of Northern Ireland's best storytellers) guides you inside the historic city walls with their cannons, down Shipquay Street with its elegant Georgian houses, to the Gothic Guildhall.

You head to the iconic Giant's Causeway for a special experience learning how the National Trust supports farming and biodiversity. You then travel along the spectacular Antrim Coast road to your hotel overlooking Ballygally Bay. In the evening you join a Celebration Dinner marking the end of your tour, featuring old-fashioned hospitality, good food and wine.

You continue around the scenic Antrim Coast, passing the huge Norman castle at Carrickfergus, before arriving in Belfast. You meet your Local Expert Hilda, a lifelong Belfast resident, who takes you on a passionate city tour including City Hall, Queen's University, Parliament Building at Stormont, and murals showing local political sentiments.
