Just back from an amazing week in the Maldives with Koda. This company is by far the easiest and most efficient tour that I have dealt with. They go above and beyond with their tours to make sure that you enjoy every second of your trip. I have done two tours with them: Croatia in August and Maldives in April. The Maldives tour was an amazing mix of local islands, snorkeling, chasing sharks, manta rays and whale sharks. Transport to and from the islands is provided which avoids the stress of being scammed or taking the wrong boat trips! We also got to experience the glamorous experience of resorts in the local area at an extra cost which I would highly recommend as a group activity. The hotel and food quality is always great and is run by the local people. Great alternatives based on your food preferences too. Some many great memories made with an amazing group of young professionals from across the globe. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Koda family. I will continue to explore the world safely with this top class tour company. The most spectacular holiday I have ever had. The mixture of local, underwater and once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Koda Sail. This trip included things I would never imagine doing myself, swimming with Manta Rays (whale sharks eluded us), snorkelling in an actual shipwreck, being encouraged to get closer to some nurse sharks in order to get some great photos, doing an introductory dive, watching others take photos with stingrays (absolutely not for me). Making some great new friends, all in 7 days. The tour leader Lucas was amazing, involved everyone in the group got everyone’s photos along the spectacular journey, organised and planned in the background with the locals. Epic, spectacular, would love to do it again! Some hot tips if you are considering this; Take an underwater camera. Take more USD than you think. Always pack a cover up in your day bag. Wear a ridiculous amount of sunblock, if you think it’s enough, add more. Don’t freeze in photos, it’s more than likely a video. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
