The tour was well-planned and organized, allowing us to cover all the major attractions in these beautiful destinations in just 8 days. The tour started in Cochin, also known as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. We were greeted by our friendly tour guide at the airport who gave us a warm welcome and briefed us about the itinerary for the next 8 days. We were then taken to our hotel in Cochin, which was located in a prime location with easy access to the popular tourist spots. The next day, we visited the famous Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, which was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. The intricate architecture and beautiful murals inside the palace were a treat to the eyes. We also visited the Jewish Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. Next, we headed to Munnar, a picturesque hill station famous for its tea plantations. The scenic drive to Munnar was breathtaking, with stunning views of the Western Ghats. We visited the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and the Tea Museum where we learned about the process of tea-making and got to taste different varieties of tea.
