What is the best way to arrange airport transfers?

It's recommended to book afternoon flights to avoid scheduling conflicts with the cruise itinerary.

What is the address for boarding the cruise in Vienna?

The normal port in Vienna is Donaustation 29, 1190 Wien. It's a short walk from the tram stop.

Can I request additional services during the cruise?

Unfortunately going thru my booking options, I did see a drink package listed as an extra option, but couldn't find any place to sign up for it...only found the insurance option. If you offer a drink package as well as a tour package for Bratislava and Budapest, please send me the link.

In the Vienna-Vienna route, the ship will be MS Swiss Splendor. Drink packages will be offered on board. At the moment we don't have prices.

How much will be the price for a solo traveler (room with window)? What are the charges for transfer from airport to the ship and from ship to airport or Hotel?

The quote for a single occupancy of the Standard cabin on Main deck is EUR 1595.25 (including single supplement, 30% discount, port and fuel taxes). The quote for the transfer in Vienna is EUR 90. All cabins are outside; upper deck cabins have French balconies; main deck cabins have a standard window which can be open; lower deck cabins have smaller portholes which cannot be open.

What should I do if I need special meal options?

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions when you book, and we will accommodate your needs.

We are vegetarian and do not eat seafood or chicken. Would you able to have vegetarian food options for us?

We totally enjoyed our late October cruise even though groups from Spain and Germany were in the majority. City visits were brief and our boat seemed often to be moored in the furthest port from the sights. By engaging local guides through Viator we saw and learned a lot. Bring your walking shoes and use the excellent inexpensive public transportation. Food was excellent, each meal had several courses and there were choices. Staff was helpful, unobtrusive and friendly. Entertainment was one DJ and the music was not what we are used to hearing. Lounges were spacious and had comfy furniture along with lots of windows. Expect to go thru lots of locks. Overall it was a great way to experience the sights and sounds several cities.Show more

  I'd rather look a bit more until I find a cruise that offers the drink and bus-tour package at an extra cost. I'm planning already a year ahead and it has to be "solid". I don't want to get to this ship and be told "we don't offer those packages this year".
