  Would my friend and I be able to book one room with two beds for this tour? Also, can we pay separately using two credit cards, and should we book it online or do we book it through you?

    You can select twin rooms which means one room and two beds up on checkout.

    At the time of booking, only one credit card can be used, but depending on your departure date, typically, just the deposit is required initially. The remaining balance will be required at a later date. Once the booking is confirmed, you'll have the option to send a payment link to your friend so they can conveniently make their portion of the payment online. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can set up a separate booking conversation page for your friend to book independently.

    Our online booking system only accepts payments from a single card. However, we are pleased to offer a few alternative options to accommodate your needs. You can give us a call, and we would be happy to assist with a manual payment to split the deposits between multiple cards. Additionally, if you prefer, you can use payment links to have your friend pay for their share of the trip directly.   Is it possible to meet up with your tour somewhere closer to Waterford on July 8? Also, how many beds and what size beds come with the private double room? If it's only 1 double bed, are we able to upgrade to 2 beds (of any size) or a king bed?

    There is a train from Waterford to Kilkenny which is the first overnight stop so it's really easy to meet up there with the rest of the group, you would only miss out on Glendalough.

    Would we be able to get 2 beds (of any size) or a king size? We could pay an upgrade charge if needed. Just to confirm, would we be back in Dublin on July 13?

    Yeah you can get two beds, just list twin room in your booking or you can upgrade to a king/queen room after your booking with Overland Ireland. You would return on the 13th to Dublin and would arrive between 18:00 and 19:30. The tour is Euro 1995 per person.

  Is breakfast the only included meal each day? As far as accommodations, what are "guest houses?" Am I understanding correctly that we would have to find a hotel in Dublin on our own?

    Yes Breakfast is the only meal included in your tour package. Guesthouses are similar to B&B and are usually family run small properties with lots of charm.
    
    Day 1 - Kilkenny Hibernian Hotel
    Day 2 - Killarney Towers
    Day 3 & 4 - Dingle Marina Lodge
    Day 5 - Armada Hotel
    
    Unfortunately, we do not provide pre or post tour accommodation in Dublin. I can however send you through some recommendations. For pre tour accommodations, The Ashling hotel is always a great option as it is our meeting and departure point for our tour on day one. An added bonus with the Ashling hotel is if you mention that you are travelling with Overland Ireland, you will be offered their best available rates for your chosen nights. If you'd prefer something more central, I'd recommend The Alex, The Morgan or The Green which are all great choices in the heart of the city.

  Would like to reserve a hotel stay at Ashling Hotel the night before and the last night of the tour. How can I do that? Does the transportation from Galway to Dublin included in this tour? How many people signed up for this tour? What is the max number of people in this tour?

    Transportation is included in your trip so we will make sure you get back either to Dublin City or the airport. With regards to the Ashling hotel please book this with them online or give them a call.

    The only tips you need is our driver guide and that is normally between 15/20 euro per day per person.

    No tours leaving on the 1st and tours are fully booked for the 2nd and 3rd. The only spaces left is on the 31st. Could check if you can join the tour a day late, on the 1st for a tour that left a day earlier.

    Each accommodation provider would have WiFi, all restaurants have etc. However it's really simple to get a virtual SIM card online or at the airport you can use and you get unlimited WiFi on your phone for Euro 2 a day.

    We provide a bus ticket back to Dublin which can be used any time, the earliest you could be back in Dublin is around 17:30 if you want to do the full programme on the last day but you also can do a little later and explore more of Galway.

    Regarding the last day of the trip, do people usually stay the night in Galway and would you have accommodation recommendations convenient to the bus to Dublin? Do you have recommendations for accommodations near the pick-up in Dublin since the hotel at the pickup spot seems fully booked?

    Some people spend the night in Galway as it's a great little city, amazing atmosphere, loads to do and just a great place to be while others explore Dublin. It's really what you want. Dublin is nice and compact so maybe try the Castle Hotel, The Alex, The Morgan, The Green. They are all about a 12 Euro taxi from the departure location.

  I'm very interested in joining your trip. It sounds absolutely magical. I am trying to fit in a few days in Ireland before a short horseback riding trip I already have planned in Northern Ireland departing on June 29th from Ballycastle. It seems like the trip departing on June 25th works perfectly for me assuming it's ok if I leave a little early and head for Ballycastle instead of back to Dublin. I will be traveling solo and joining a small group would be ideal for me. Would it be possible for me to do that?

    That is no problem at all. I think there is a bus called Feda O'Donnel, that goes all the way from Galway up to North Donegal. That might be worth checking out. Not that many people know about it. And yeah that is no problem to leave slightly early.
