    4.0 - Good

The Rajasthan Experience tour was excellent, our guide Ravi is very knowledgeable about his country, its history, and its traditions. He was extremely caring for each member, we felt safe at all times, he attended to all of us in all ways at every point on the tour. The trip was everything me and my daughter could have asked for and more. Transport was good – local train, private mini bus, rikshaw and camel - and the accommodation was great (with all the necessities such as wifi and a good breakfast!) The tour covers all the touristy spots as well as more traditional experiences and included a visit to a special needs children school and a dinner at an Indian family home . Highly recommended!

The Rajasthan Experience tour was a very comprehensive one: we visited the main Rajasthani cities and its highlights. The tour included a visit to a special needs children school and a dinner at an Indian family home, what I found very interesting and important to get a deeper understanding of contemporary Rajasthan. We stay in very nice and comfortable hotels, travel by bus, train and airplane without any hassle. The camel ride at the Thar desert and the gypsy music and dance performance were for me one of the highlights. Our guide Pramod was very knowledgeable of Indian history and culture, and always willing to meet our needs. What I did not like were the visits to the so-called handcrafts recovery projects. They show you how they are trying to keep handcrafts traditions alive and then they sell to you carpets, embroideries, some of them new some “antique”, block printing fabrics, precious stones, and of course pashminas at very high prices. Feel entitled to bargain: offer them 50% of the original price, what is a fair price or walk away. You will find the same items on the streets. Regarding the pashminas, a person from Kashmir told me that the best quality pashmina, made from the goat chin´s wool could cost 6.000 rupees, say US$ 90 (tourist price). Just bargain without guilt.

The Rajhastan Experience tour was great. Good hotels, exceptional leader and exotic sites. Would recommend the trip as a good first taste of India.

Very well-rounded trip. We had a chance to see the unfiltered reality, the great, and everything inbetween of a large swathe of Rajasthan.

The website is so easy to use, and with a large number of tours to choose from and great 24/7 backup via phone and online chat, I wouldn't book my trips anywhere else. I also love earning credits towards future tours with each booking. Highly recommended.
