  There was initially good communication with the tour operator, People Travel and Experience at the time of booking. We were picked up promptly from our cruise and delivered to a very nice hotel. We had an issue with the air conditioning in our room and sent a note to the tour operator, no reply, we resolved ourselves. Tour operator arranged for 5:00am transport to the airport. no transport arrived, hotel called emergency number I was given and no one answered the phone, then called the tour agent's personal number that I had been given, she answered and told the hotel she would get back to the us asap, No Reply, hotel called again, only to be told by the contact that she couldn't reach the driver, so we had to make our own arrangements to arrive at the airport. Upon arriving on our second leg of the trip, the subcontracted tour operator complained to us, we were too far out of town and that we would need to be picked up first and delivered last, due to the distance. Transport and tours were "shared services" we were delayed at airport by 40 minute while we waiting for one person from our flight, I asked the tour operator to check with the airline to be sure they were on the flight and they weren't. By the time we arrived at the hotel we had 30 minutes to get ready to board a bus for a tour. No time for lunch. At each pick up the tour operator waited at least 10 minutes and the last pickup we waited over 30 minutes. Although we did get the appropriate amount of time allotted for the tour, on the way back from the tour we had to cross the border between two countries and because we were so late returning the office at the border was closed and the 2 tour guides and the driver left us on the bus while they sorted the situation out, which took over 1 hour. No one communicated with us on the bus, in all we were delayed by 2 hours and we asked to be dropped off downtown and took a taxi back to our hotel. Do to the poor management of the tour operator we cancelled our tour for the following day. Although I was able to get some of my money back, I am extremely disappointed in this tour operator. I hired a tour company as I was looking for a smooth well thought agenda and when issues occurred I was left to figure them out on my own. This will be the last time I use Tourradar.Show more

Regarding the transport and tours, these were booked as shared services, which naturally involve a 'hotel-by-hotel' pickup process. For guests seeking a direct, no-wait experience, we always recommend private excursions, though these do carry a significantly higher price point. We also take our commitment to guest satisfaction seriously. When the issue with the air conditioning was brought to our attention, we advocated on your behalf, and the hotel agreed to reimburse you for two nights—a decision we hope you appreciate. Furthermore, although your last-minute cancellation the night before the tour technically fell outside our refund policy, we chose to issue a refund anyway as a gesture of goodwill, despite the costs already incurred with our local providers. We aim to provide seamless coordination, and while we apologize for the communication gaps during your airport transfer, we believe the significant financial recoveries and refunds provided demonstrate our commitment to making things right.

  We had a wonderful time for the short 5 days visit. The city is lively and vibrant, BBQ in the ranch is mouth watering, and Iguazú falls is breath taking. Thank you, We the people travel, for all the arrangements and introduce us the delicious cookies. We brought 4 boxes home to share in the US. In particular, we had a wonderful guide, Enrique, and drivers for the Iguazú falls trip. We travel all the time, but this one truly made life memory.Show more
