Is it possible to alter the itinerary of this tour. My partner and I would love to visit Hanoi and Halong Bay - but we are both Seniors and I don't think we would manage the small boat tour in Ninh Binh. We would like to miss that tour and have 2 nights on the Halong Bay cruise boat instead. Is that possible?

Yes you can skip Ninh Binh and pay extra for 2 nights on the cruise in Halong Bay. But I see many old people doing boat trip in Ninh Binh withour any problem!

Just wanting to inquire whether how much if we wanted to have all transport private throughout the tour and what are the hotels included?

The hotels and cruise are 3-star quality. For private trnasport, I think you can use private car for airport pickup & drop off and Halong Bay. For Hanoi city and Ninh Binh, you can't use a private car for a group tour. Both group tours has about 18 - 22 people, not so big.

I have question about the accommodation, apart from the cruise will it be the same hotel in Hanoi or will there be different ones? The reason I ask is because I have a lot of luggage that I'd rather leave somewhere instead of carrying everywhere. Maybe if it's the same hotel they could hold my luggage for the one night when we are on the cruise?

Yes. Normally it's same hotel for all nights in Hanoi (I need to check for availability to be 100% sure). And you can store your luggage at hotel when you do Halong Bay cruise.

Price is not included hotel accommodation in Hanoi. Price for a Deluxe Room with window at 3-star hotel is around $30 - $40 per room (2 people) per night.

  Day 1: Hanoi arrival
  Day 2: Hanoi city
  Day 3-4-5: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hanoi
  Day 6: Hanoi departure
  
  This itinerary offers you more time to relax with less activities. But normally on Day 2 of 3 days 2 nights in Halong, you will take small boat, not the main cruise. The main cruise will return to pickup new group. For some people, 3 days 2 nights is a bit too much for Halong. But some people still want 3 days 2 nights for more time for relaxing.
