  Interesting and well organized tour. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly (especially Dare, our guide in Chiang Mai did a really good job). A highlight were the elephants and pig island. I was a bit annoyed by the unexpected stop at the gem factory after the floating market and the information around the connecting flights, but maybe that is just how things work in Thailand.Show more

These stops are not only opportunities for travelers to explore local crafts but also serve as convenient restroom breaks, as many customers appreciate having a chance to stop mid-journey. Please note that purchasing products at these locations is entirely optional, and no one is forced to buy anything. We truly appreciate your understanding of these common travel practices.   Legend tour itinerary was generally good with a variety of activities at the 3 destinations. Information about hotel booked were only disclosed when asked one month before the tour. Internal airfares times known only at time of arrival. Itinerary and times shortly before flying. This made it difficult planning for my family as we needed to know whether the area we stayed was appropriate for my kids, and to plan shopping and meals. Also with flight times, to wake up at what time and eat etc. We did request to change our hotel (Extra charge) in Chiang Mai to be more central to amenities. Ideally, the agent should disclose the hotels once booked or choices so we can check the surrounds for transport and food options. We also unsure why local payment was needed, even though it was indicated in the price. We still ended up tipping the tour guides and drivers. There is a hotline to contact if you have any questions, if you not sure if admission/meals are included or not, you can always check with the agent directly as sometimes the tour guide may not know. For Bangkok and Chiang Mai, we had pretty much a private tour (not intended). The tour guide in Chiang Mai - Dare and Air were fantastic, having snacks in the van and engaging with us. We did a long 10hr road trip to the golden triangle and the white temple was temporary closed when we visited in the morning. They came back in the afternoon so we could see inside the temple art. The elephant sanctuary here was more natural and the white water rafting was fun. We wished we could stay an extra day in Chiang Mai to do one of the zip lines adventures. At Koh Samui, we joined 3 day tours (prebooked by the agent). The Madsum island cruise was boring, as we were on board most of the time just lazing on the bean bags. We did some snorkel, and was hoping to spend more time and swim at the beach at Madsum island. However, the boat only docked at Madsum island for 20 mins to take some photos with the pigs. Would have preferred a more exciting boat trip to spend more time at Madsum island, if you don’t intend to sleep away the day on the boat. The elephant camp here was a different to the mainland, still amazing to be up close to them. The Anthong Marine park was spectacular – definitely a highlight! Overall, we had an enjoyable trip with transport and logistics going smoothly. Just a few stresses (as I’m an organiser) which could be prevented if all the information was communicated. Would have preferred some options so we can be more flexible with our activities.Show more

  I must admit that I was a little worried about the hotel bookings, transfers, and excursions for our 11-day trip from Bangkok to Koh Samui in Thailand. However, I am delighted to say that everything worked out perfectly! From the moment we arrived in Bangkok to our time in Koh Samui, every aspect of our trip was seamless and well-organized. One thing that particularly impressed me was the punctuality and efficiency of the Legend Travel team. Every transfer and excursion started on time, and there was always a representative waiting for us with a sign displaying my name. This level of professionalism made our journey stress-free and enjoyable. Throughout our time in Thailand, we had an incredible experience. The hotels recommended by Legend Travel were of high quality, providing comfort and convenience. The excursions were well-planned, allowing us to explore the best of each destination.
