what happens if we arrive early

on this tour the hotel does not allow Explore to book pre and post accommodation, however you may be able to book extra nights directly with the hotel. This tour usually begins at B&B Hotel Ljubljana Park. However if you mean that you arrive early in the day of Day 1, then you can leave your luggage at the hotel and go out to explore, or if they have a room available early, they may allow you to check in.

I would like to confirm if you foresee any cancelation of this tour from Sep 7 to 14. I also would like to confirm the following: What are the difficulty levels of the hikings? Will we change hotels? Do you have people confirmed for this tour? How's the weather forecast like for this week? Do you expect a lot of rain/cold?

We don't currently have any passengers booked for the departure. We've graded the walks on this tour as moderate. You should have a good level of fitness and an enjoyment of being outdoors to take part. Walking grade is Leisurely and Moderate. Walks on 5 days for between 4 to 7.5 hours. The paths can be uneven and are often stony and rocky underfoot, so hiking boots or shoes are essential. In September, the average daily temperatures in Slovenia range from around 12°C to 23°C. The coastal regions usually experience slightly higher temperatures compared to the inland areas.

After reading the hike descriptions, It doesn't appear we need hiking poles. What is the recommendment?

It all depends on your physical condition. Walks on 5 days for between 4 to 7.5 hours. The hikes are graded as moderate on 3 days and leisurely on 2 days. The paths can be uneven and are often stony and rocky underfoot, so hiking boots or shoes are essential. On day 6 it is very rough underfoot and the higher hike requires good weather.

Is it possible to book out the tour and know how many spots are available? We are a group of 15 going on a cruise after this date and want to offer it to them to book individually without missing out.

We are interested in booking the Slovenia walking tour departing from Ljubljana airport, on May 28th, 2023, however we would like to know if their is any other transfer option to Hotel Kristal, which is shown as a 10pm departure from the airport. If there is an earlier option, even at additional cost, could you please let us know.

Unfortunately on this trip we only have the 1 evening transfer that is free of charge. However if you wish to transfer to the hotel earlier we can provide a private arrival transfer, this would be AU$97 per person.

I was wondering if you had a suggested itinerary for a group of 7 hikers. Beginner hikers in their early 20s, looking for a self guided hut to hut hike across 4-days in late July. Initial research has led us towards lake bled/lake Bohnij but we are open to any suggested plans or hidden treasures.

For our WSO - Walking in Slovenia trip, we do not operate this trip in June, July or August as it is too hot to walk. We do have trips that start again in September. We can run one of our "Group" trips as an Exclusive group trip for your group of 7.
