Originally this was to be a group tour but due to the Covid crises and uncertainty about visas to India, I went with only one other person. It was fortunate that this was the case because it would have been a disaster to have taken the group. To begin, Our first hotel in Delhi was horrible (the hotels were supposed to be 3 stars). There were moth balls everywhere in the rooms and the smell was almost unbreathable. In addition it was in a terrible neighborhood and the street noise kept us up most of the night. The hotel in Agra, also right on a main street was very noisy, too. The 3rd hotel in Jaipur had no restaurant and a dangerous street to cross in order to find food. There was no toilet paper in the room, internet was on and off, and rags for towels. In Pushkar, the hotel had feces on the bathroom wall, a horrendous dirty restaurant (we ate in the room) and was very noisy. In Udaipur, the first hotel was so dirty and smelled of moth balls that we refused to stay there. The manager joked the smell was perfume. We went to a second hotel that had a filthy elevator, broken shower head, hot water only on demand. When we asked for toilet paper they brought a roll with excrement on the toilet paper. The cleaners left their dirty rags right in my friend's open suitcase. The hotel was completely out of the city. The restaurant was terrible, the internet unstable. After constantly complaining to the tour guy, Jitender, the hotels finally improved for the final stops on the tour. But, for Delhi at the end of the tour we booked our own hotel near the airport, so as not to risk another bad one on our final day and a half. We had a great driver for the trip, Uday. Outside of Pushkar ( a total waste of time), the other sights were excellent (I had been to all of them on previous trips to India. I cannot imagine what would have happened with a group of 20 persons, instead of just the two of us.Show more

Hi Richard, We truly value your feedback and we are extremely sorry to hear about your not-so-good experience. As you had main concern for smell at most of the hotels during the stay which I already explained you that was not a smell it’s a sanitization perfume because it’s a covid protocol for all the hotels to do sanitization every day in each part of the hotel. About hotels we used the same hotels since long but not get any single complaint even we used the same hotels for TR past customers as well but still didn't get any single issue so far. For your information all the hotels are reputed 3 star category as well as very good review on Trip Advisor. 1- In Delhi I booked hotel Surya International which is middle of the city at Karol Bagh area which is little crowded, As you know Delhi is very busy as well as little crowded. Even I called you next morning but you did'nt tell anything about smell etc. 2- In Agra I booked hotel Karan Villas which is middle of the city and close to Taj Mahal. During the stay I spoked you regarding the Taj Mahal Entry Ticket but didn't tell anything about hotel etc. 3- In Jaipur I booked hotel Rajputana Haveli which is Heritage hotel in a peace location. Yes, the hotel Restaurant area is not operational due to covid restrictions but they still take orders on phone and provide the meals on Room. 4- In Pushkar I booked hotel Sajjan Bagh Resort. Upon arrival you called me that you not happy with hotel room so I immediately call to hotel manager to change room which’s done by the manager. Also there is so many things to do in Pushkar like visit Pushkar lake & Camel Safari but you are not interested to do this and refuse to go. 5- In Udaipur I booked hotel Royal Pratap Niwas which’s close to lake with roof top open restaurant but upon arrival same you are not happy due to smell issue so I immediately change the hotel and booked different hotel whom I get as earliest ( kindly note due to high wedding season in Udaipur most of the hotels are sold out ) 6- In Jodhpur I booked upgraded category 4 star hotel for him ( hotel mapple Abhay ) and you are happy with that. 7- In Jaisalmer I booked Haveli for him and you are happy with that. 8- In Bikaner again I booked upgraded category 4 star hotel for you ( Hotel Vesta Bikaner Palace ) and you are happy with that. 9- In Mandawa again I booked Hotel Mandawa Heritage for you and you are happy with that. At last in delhi I suggest you to go with upgrade 4 star hotel instead 3 star accordingly to your standard but you booked directly somewhere whom are also not match with his expectation. Hope the above clarification will clear your doubts.
