Quite terrible . Avoid at all costs. They will scam you and try to make u pay for tours u already paid for. Then they will take u to a restaurant that will give u severe food poisoning . Oh and when the poisoning causes u to miss some of the tours u paid for , u won’t get a refund. Not even an apology. Just gaslighting . Avoid these scammers at all costs

🚨 CONSUMER BEWARE: Memphis Tours Was a Complete Disaster 🚨 Travelers deserve to know what really happened on my $11,000 trip with Memphis Tours — because the level of incompetence, dishonesty, and disorganization I experienced was beyond anything I’ve seen from a travel company. This was not a “bad day” or a small mistake. This was systemic failure from start to finish. Here are the major issues — and every one of them is documented in WhatsApp and email: 1. Sarah booked the WRONG flight itinerary My flight reservation didn’t match the trip schedule. This is Travel 101. A mistake this big derailed the start of my trip and created chaos that never stopped. 2. Communication was a complete breakdown I had to beg daily for basic information: pick-up times, schedules, instructions. Sarah was consistently unresponsive, forcing me to manage details she was being paid to handle. 3. The Nubian Village tour was handled with total incompetence She claimed she was giving it to me free because of earlier mistakes — yet she didn’t even tell the guides. They tried to cram it into an impossible schedule, rushed me around, and only later realized they had been given false information. At that point, I was exhausted from fixing their errors. 4. Sarah MISLED me about the border pick-up This one is serious. She told me the driver was on the Israel side looking for me and then “went back to Jordan.” This was a lie. The driver was NEVER on the Israel side — not even once. He remained on the Jordan side the entire time. Even worse, she clearly had no understanding of the Israel–Jordan border process, including the mandatory shuttle bus you must take before reaching the Jordan pick-up point. She had no clue how the crossing worked yet pretended she did, giving me wrong and misleading directions during an already stressful situation. This wasn’t a small slip — it was reckless and completely unacceptable. Bottom line Memphis Tours did not deliver the trip I paid for. They delivered a chaotic, stressful mess that I spent more time repairing than enjoying. I have all written correspondence confirming: misinformation disorganization contradictory instructions failures to communicate and repeatedly broken promises My response I am demanding a partial refund, and if this is not handled immediately and professionally, I will move forward with legal action. All evidence — emails, WhatsApp messages, timelines, and your own staff’s contradictions — will be provided to my attorney. Travelers, take this as a warning: If this is how Memphis Tours handles a $11,000 trip, I can only imagine how much worse it could get. — Tino Advincula

A 26-Day Egyptian Dream with Memphis Tours From start to finish, Memphis Tours treated us like VIPs. From the moment security facilitated our arrival and visa process, to the heartfelt goodbye and a plea to “please return,” every detail reflected a commitment to excellence. As seniors in our late seventies, choosing the right tour group mattered deeply—and Travel Local, with Memphis Tours, proves they excel in every country we visited. A standout leadership presence Raafat, a manager at the head office, watched over us with a steady, professional touch for the entire 26 days in Egypt. His oversight, paired with the company’s dedication, far exceeded our expectations. The team’s care extended beyond the itinerary to ensure our comfort, safety, and enjoyment at every turn. Attentive to dietary needs With dietary considerations in play, Memphis Tours never missed a beat. They communicated clearly, planned around our needs, and ensured everyone was aware of options available, making us feel heard and well-cared-for. Cairo enchantments Cairo tours were exceptional, including a memorable visit to the New Grand Museum. Special requests were welcomed without hesitation, and even a routine stop at the drugstore became a seamless part of our day. Our diver, Bunny, was extraordinary—knowledgeable, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Luxor’s allure Luxor dazzled us. Our guide and driver were outstanding—the best we’ve ever had. Luxor feels wonderfully safe to explore at any hour, inviting you to wander and soak in its timeless beauty. The Winter Palace staff and grounds provided the perfect tranquil respite between tours. A dreamlike Nile voyage Days drifted by like sunlit ribbons along the timeless Nile aboard the Nour El Nil cruise. Memphis Tours delivered an exemplary Dahabiya experience for us: a small, intimate crew of 13 friends who quickly became companions. We moved with a sense of pampered indulgence, savoring the rich tapestry of Egyptian flavors while the ship’s gracious crew guided us from Esna to Aswan with effortless grace. High standards, memorable people Across our 26-day journey through Egypt, we encountered lovely guides in almost every stop, and top-notch drivers who reflected Memphis’s high standards. We especially fell in love with our Cairo driver, Bunny—our connection was immediate and joyful. A note on one less-than-ideal experience There was one guide we wouldn’t recommend or book again. Our trip was entirely private, and during our four nights in Siwa, his style felt controlling and somewhat sabotaging of our wishes. His name was Islam Essam. While this marred a portion of an otherwise flawless trip, it does not diminish the overall excellence and care shown by the Memphis Tours team in the rest of our journey. If you’re seeking a thoughtfully curated, pampered, and culturally rich Egyptian adventure, Memphis Tours sets the bar. They deliver impeccable service, attentive leadership, and genuinely memorable experiences—making every moment feel like a cherished part of a dream vacation. We’d return in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to travelers of all ages.

Not very accommodating for how much you spend. Itinerary got messed up flight got canceled and they wouldn’t lets us end trip early unless we paid more. Not all was bad but closer to end trip became more overwhelming than enjoyable. Egypt part went fine when we got to Turkey they switch up our itinerary not saying anything. We had to wake up at 330 AM then right after plane ride was supposed to have a rest day but they took us straight on to the tours. NO shower or rest before was in such disgust didn’t get back to hotel till 4pm! We had private tour whole time in Turkey but we have been with other and since our itinerary didn’t match, with the other, they made it match up messing up our itinerary, plans and tours. We are displeased, overwhelmed and exhausted! Don't ask them for accommodation, we asked to go back few days yearly they agreed and said yes then said no for it’ll coast more! We have no choice now they seem to only care about money not guest satisfaction!

Reviews NOT true. I would like to tell about my experience with Mamphis tour: 1. The vendors ask you to do a 5 star review when you book so before the vacation. They ask for a review on the booking service so the reviews are not true about the package but about the pre-departure service 2. The cruise may change in order depending on the people doing it with you, we had booked a certain package which changed as there were only two of us and we were joined with a family with other tour operator so they adjusted our program to them 3. In some reviews they say the guides are quick and explain things quickly, I agree. Tours not very detailed and in record time, we were always back on the ship long before departure. The guide explained little and the minimum (I say this because in Cairo I had a different guide from another tour operator and the difference was seen 4. Itinerary changed several times (both the stops and the tour) 5. They made us take the return flight in the evening, we finished the tour at 11 a.m. (by schedule it was supposed to end at 3:30 p.m.) and without even an offered lunch we were on the ship doing nothing without even having a cabin available (when I complained they offered an offered lunch but the kitchen was already closed) 6. They tried to find alternatives, like providing us on the last day with a driver for free to go see what we had not seen BUT we would have to pay for the tickets (included in the package) and we would be without a guide for explanations (what's the point?) 7. When I asked for even minimal reimbursement for the mishap and for what we had in the program and did not see (even just the Dam in Aswan), they said that they looked for alternatives, which I confirm, but not satisfactory at the price paid (I emphasize that the alternative is in point 5, but why pay for things that were in theory in the package?). The choice is everyone's, I can say that the higher category ship was very nice and comfortable, but I am leaving this review (which I did not want to do) because of the way I was treated today when I reasonably asked for a token refund for what I did not see and missed. Just a reminder that reviews happen after reservations are made and often therefore before the visit. Beautiful Egypt, if one does not have high expectations of the guidebook and itinerary I recommend Memphis but if one wants to see everything in writing I do NOT recommend this agency.

Had booked a Tour to Egypt, Jordon and Israel in November 2022 through person called AMIRA, who had thoroughly disappointed us so far Everything went well in Egypt. till we reached Jordon. There was no one in Amman Airport to receive us or no one knew we were coming and other Memphis personnel in the Airport took other passengers and went away . Our Itinerary showed that we were supposed to be picked up at 13:00 hrs, and then go for a city tour of Amman to view different sites including museum. We waited in Airport from 1 pm to 5 pm and then was picked up by a replacement Driver who did not know anything about the plans, and only took us to our acomodation for the night missed the whole itinerary in Amman. I was promised a refund of money for the loss but AMIRA Had been quite unhelpful and had been telling us that we will be refunded for the last 5 months and we are still waiting for our refund,

My family and I traveled Dec 2022. It was a great experience in terms of seeing the sites but the tour guide we spent most of our time with (5 days) on the Nile cruise, could have been better. A few things he did were unprofessional and created the downside of our trip. First off, he was not on time for tour times he had set. We had to wait on him quite often and call his room. Additionally, when giving the guided tours, most of the time he gave high level information then gave us free time while he sat in the coffee shop. This was interesting considering we had a private tour and other tour guides were coming into sites and explaining small details. Lastly, we had asked him for help obtaining a SIM card and later found that the actual price of it was much less than what we had given. We felt that his guiding style was inefficient. That being said, the other guides through Memphis tours were pleasant and knowledgeable. Transfers and sites through the package were enjoyable and the company was most helpful when our baggage was lost. Overall a well rounded trip of ups and downs just like anything else!
