He was always happy to accommodate our requests, whether it was finding clean restrooms, recommending good food, or making changes to our itinerary. Even during our free-and-easy time, Hasan went above and beyond to ensure we were safe. He helped arrange tuk-tuks when needed and even checked in to make sure we had reached our hotel safely. This tour is a good introduction to Sri Lanka's highlights, packing a thoughtful itinerary into a compact timeframe. Our driver, Pavi, was the standout—exceptionally caring, always ready to assist, and a safe, knowledgeable guide who made the journey seamless. A huge thank you to Pavi for elevating the entire experience! I docked a star due to a few hotels located far from city centers, which limited independent exploring during free time. Some activities and smaller towns felt underwhelming too or like tourist traps. Things like the gem museum are just a sales ploy masked as educational. Though the tours get commissions for pushing us to these 'sales' stops, I still think they should be removed from the tour. Yet, still, this tour is ideal for more 'normal' tourists wanting to tick off main sites efficiently. For full immersion, it's best to do the country on your own... Overall recommendation: Yes, especially if you get Pavi—you'll be in great hands for a broad, hassle-free overview of Sri Lanka! Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Mango Vacations. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Mango Vacations will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Mango Vacations" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
