  I appreciate the fact that Joyful Holidays and in particular Miss Sonya Handa has put a lot of thought into planning this trip along with providing an air conditioned car a driver and tour guides The driver Mr. Shahid Khan was very helpful and drove in a safe manner in the congested traffic The highlights of the trip for me was visiting Taj Mahal in Agra and the maharaja palace in Jaipur. You will never be able to appreciate Taj Mahal until you see it in person and that to me was worth every penny I spent If you are planning a trip to India forget about all tour companies be it in the US or in India and talk to Sonia and her team as sh will bend backwards to get you a well planned tripShow more

Sonia was incredibly accommodating with changes and put together a wonderful itinerary for my mother and me during our visit to Jaipur and Agra. The hotel in Jaipur was beautifully and tastefully chosen—an old haveli converted into a hotel, and the perfect place to begin our journey. A special mention goes to our driver, Raju, who was always willing to go the extra mile and drive us wherever we needed, as well as our knowledgeable guides in both Jaipur and Agra, who truly enhanced the experience. There is still so much more to see in Rajasthan, and when I return, I will definitely be reaching out to Joyful Holidays again.Show more

  My husband and I traveled to India for the first time and this tour was fantastic! Our driver, Raju, was great and super helpful. The tour guides in the different cities were all friendly and we learned so much from them! We also got to see some of the specialities of the cities and buy art to take home as souvenirs. The food was great and had different variety if needed and the hotels along the way were clean with great staff. Overall, a great trip and we would definitely use them again!Show more

  Our tour experience was wonderful. Sonia was able to design a trip the met the interests of our group. We were a group of adults and teens so it was important we learn and experience the Indian culture. Our Golden Triangle tour definitely did this! Our guide Vivick was very knowledgeable in Indian history and took very good care of us. We were taken to restaurants with a variety of international cuisine choices. Our driver was amazing navigating the chaos on the roads. I would highly recommend Joyful Holidays!Show more

  This was a family trip for four night and five days. First day was tour of Delhi— heavy rain was slight challenge. Second day, we left early morning to Agra where Taj Mahal is. It took Approximately 3-4 hr drive to arrive at the hotel. Grand Murcure was very nice hotel and we were given a room with view of Taj Mahal. Around 5 pm, we were greeted by local guide who was extremely knowledgeable and respectful. He helped us tour Taj Mahal for evening sight seeing and next morning early visit to Taj Mahal. It was highlight of our entire tour and my family enjoyed every moment of it. Our tour guide at Agra made everything smooth and gave thorough history of the Taj Mahal which was entertaining and educational. Due to such an overwhelming experience at Taj Mahal, I didn’t know what to expect at Jaipur. However, Jaipur had its own unique surprises and my family had another wonderful day of informational entertaining tour. We were guided by another local Jaipur guide who was also very helpful and knowledgeable. At Jaipur, student ID is required for children of foreigners to receive student price (usually 1/2). Also most places only took cash for admission fee. I found out exchange rate is the worst at the airport and it’s easy to find exchange places while traveling so no need to change lump sums at the airport. Also, Using Uber was cheaper than getting around by taxi . Sonya (owner of the Joyful Holidays) was very personal and attentive. Our driver was also very prompt & helpful. The entire team worked diligently to make our experience worth some of the obstacles we encountered. Would recommend Joyful Holidays for exploring India.Show more
