I booked Guinea-Bissau islands and animal world, paid 3.324,26 € and booking was confirmed. Two weeks before of the travel I was adviced that since I'm the only one who booked, I need to pay another 4'400 € to have the experience. Of course I didn't accept that. We agreed on a land tour with a one night stay at an island and visit of some other islands. I was kind of sad but Mamadou did quite a good work putting together a new itinerary. It was a nice experience, since the guide made me also meet local people and drink palm or cashew fruit vine. I'm glad I visited the country but the travel was not worth 3.3k. Since the price has now increased to 5.1k and I believe a min. of 2 travellers are required, what happened to me, should not occur to future customers. On the last day in Bissau we visited a market and if I didn't catch up with the guide I could have went lost. Also he didn't try to accommodate me, said hi to a few people he knew, brought me to someone selling tobacco and then we left. This was a pitty because the market was really interesting. Still a fascinating country and I recommend for travelling because travel created memories and a new country/culture is always good to visit/get to know.Show more
